This game has changed my personal life in a way I had never imagined. My mother was diagnosed with a rare disease only three other people have ever had. After many extensive treatments, the doctors gave my family the bad news we had all dreaded. She was given a week to live, as her immune system was crippled. When I walked in her room, her eyes lit up like fireworks. In my hand I clutched a copy of Cory in the House. With the DS stylus ready to pounce, she attacked the game. All of the nurses flooded the room, as her health gradually increased. My mother hopped out of bed. Her eyes, that was the best part. To my mother, this was not another game. It was life, as she snagged it back like a tiger pouncing on an unsuspecting deer. My mother was going for the speed record, not just "for fun". Even Cory Baxter himself, trapped in a box of pride, knew that my mother was taking it up a notch. And she smashed it with 20 minutes and 46 seconds to spare. As we all mobbed her bed, myself in tears, she yanked her life support away and tossed it from the 13th level out the window. This game is anything but a game. It is anything but a game. It is life or death. Thank you.
