I would recommend this game to kids (especially girls) between the ages of 10-12. I just bought the game today and finished the whole game in one day. And I am not between the ages of 10-12. The game ends to quickly, it's fun while you're playing it, but you wish it would go on for longer. The game starts with you becoming a volunteer at the Alameda East Hospital with the doctors at the hospital (as seen on Animal Planet a few years back.) As a volunteer you pick fleas out of the animals' fur, give animals' baths, chase around animals that were on the loose, give animals medication, and feed animals. Most of these games are memory and matching. The next level is student and you are a surgical assistant, giving the vet tools during surgery, teeth cleaning. check-up, MRI, and removal. All of these games are repetitious in this level of the game. The final level is Senior Vet and what you do is get swallowed objects out of the animals' stomachs, here it is a few balls that look like cells in the stomach of an animal, they aren't things like keys or children toys. That is what I was expecting to get out of their stomachs'. The next is the broken bones, were all you do is put the bones back together in puzzle form. Blockage is also like a puzzle game. Physiotherapy is where you touch different spots on the animals legs and body to give them "therapy" so to speak. Examination is where you take x-rays of the animal by finding a organ that the game gives you. I hope this helped :)

My daughter spent earned allowance money on this game and was very disappointed. Within 4 hours on purchase (along with watching a movie and eating dinner) she had completed all activities and advanced to the expert level. With nothing left to do. She is ready to exchange it for another game in the morning. What a disappointment. By far the worst game she has purchased or played yet with her DS. She is 9 and the activities were more suited for a much younger player - very simplistic and not at all challenging. An expensive waste of time. The recommended age was 6-11 and I don't believe this game would hold an 11 year olds interest for very long. Kindergardener maybe but not much fun for anyone much older than that. Very disappointing.
