I just called customer service and they said mine is guaranteed to be here on Dec. 23rd, maybe try calling to check for your delivery date.
There is one for pre order through BestBuy online right now.
BEFORE the instructions tell you to put the screen in place, gently loosen the screws on the front of the screen, not all the way, just enough to let the plastic slip around them without tearing. (Otherwise, you will have plastic strips always sticking out from the screws.) Then gently from one corner peel the sticker off into the center. Repeat this for all 4 corners. Only peeling the sticker to the center. Leave the sticker on at this point. Tighten your screws back down, not super tight, so you don't crack the screen. Now, follow your instructions to complete building the machine. Once complete, peel the rest of the sticker off. It will come off with ease and not ruin the finish of the screen.
Yes!! You can push back the seat as far as you like!
We pre-ordered for Christmas also and our order on the GameStop app was just changed to release date of 03/11/2021. Needless to say I am canceling our order!
I wrote a review detailing how I contacted GameStop about this issue but it was censored. Short answer is that they could offer no date and no explanation why it would not be released on the release date. My impression? They took orders they couldn’t fill in the hopes they would t be cancelled.
I have the Star Wars sit down cabinet that they make and it wasn't bad. Pretty typical furniture assembly stuff. The hardest part is putting the second side panel. You have to line up all the wood pegs and settle them one step at a time. You can find assembly videos of the Star Wars arcade1up cabinet and get an idea. It's the same thing except for the control panel.
Single player only. Buyer beware, if you're looking for the 1st outrun to be the original, it is NOT. It is ported from a nintendo version released for the switch.
Sorry this happened, mine is still working. Check your cable connection
It is 3/4 size from the original arcade. However, unless you are 5.6" or less in height, I would NOT recommend. Maybe stand up. You will have to elevate the cabinet on cement blocks and get a stadium chair unless you have a strong back. I would wait for the next gen cabinet on the racing unit as Arcade 1up always innovates and improves on the designs. I hope this helps!
