i played it and it was amazing i request you buy it if you want to
I just bought it for collection reasons, I don’t own a 3DS but the cartridge seems in great conditions, doesn’t have a scratch and the sticker looks brand new
I had previously seen gaming channels play this game for a while, when I got my hands on a used copy of the game. I have never had much luck buying games used, though this game came in a wonderful condition, as I chose to had this game shipped to my home. I'm so in love with the game that I have to pace myself when playing or I might finish it too soon! I highly recommend it. A common misconception about Yokai Watch is that it is a Pokemon clone. There's two ways to tell the two game franchises apart. One being that the battle systems for each individual title is quite different. The other way to tell them apart is lore based; Yokai aren't actually treated like Pokemon (basically one could argue that they're treated like items rather than living creatures), but like individuals that you have to earn respect from in order to get into their friend zone. My favorite character from the game, to no one's surprise, is Jibanyan, the titles main mascot, other than the character whisper. All in all, I rate this game five stars. A unique cast of yokai and a wonderful battle system all wrapped up with a nice overworld, chock full of references to Japanese culture make this game shine brighter than some other games similar to Pokemon, in my opinion. My only complaint is that the movement of the character you play as is a little stiff, and there's an entire movement based level. Get this game while you still can, because in the year 2021, this game is already elusive enough. Poor marketing got this game nowhere with it's English localization, and 3DS system titles are getting rarer and rarer. Fans of this game in the U.S. are sparce, yet they exist, and are eagerly awaiting the Japanese exclusive releases of Yokai Watch 4 and the remaster of the original title for Nintendo Switch to be made available to the United States. The future of this franchise worldwide is looking grim, though the fanbase that has emerged on the farthest corners of the web are meticulously translating the game's accompanying anime. Let's all hope this game series finally goes out with the worldwide finale it deserves. I deeply enjoy playing this game.
Fun silly game! Way more enjoyable than I expected tbh.
If you enjoy Pokemon, this might be something new to enjoy. The combat system is a bit different and the game will make you put more effort into catching new yokai(s). However, there are a few drawbacks like confusing maps and other stuff that can be easily missed but that can all be solved if you're willing to search the answers online.
