Rated 2 out of 5 by Marshall in LA from Death Star Waffle Maker It worked great the first year or two. I used it maybe 20 times. ** But ** now it takes 10-14 minutes to cook long enough. And it sticks because the spray you use dissolves due to longer cooking time. So you can drench it in cooking spray, after year one at it works. But not worth the effort.

Rated 3 out of 5 by JackSkel from The Death Star has gone soft. It's great to have a waffle maker that gives you the Death Star. However, the waffles do not crisp that much. The waffles come out with the Death Star shape every time. I would just like the waffles to be a little more crisp. I used the same batter in my old waffle maker and this one and the old waffle maker crisped the waffle while they came out soft in the Death Star maker. I know if i keep the waffle in for a long time, it will eventually crisp from overcooking, but I really don't like how long that takes compared to other waffle makers that i paid less money for. 3 stars for making a fun shaped waffle.

I found that I do love this waffle iron. It makes a pretty decent size waffle. It took a few tries to find a good recipe. The great thing about these waffles even a messed up Waffle looks like the Death Star after it's blown up.
