how wide is the opening of the bowl?

Very wide, the popcorn comes out super easy and that’s awesome! But if you don’t have a bowl perfectly distanced or big enough, the popcorn flies everywhere lol

I read through the instructions. And it says to wash with water and detergent, but it doesn't strictly say machine washable/not machine washable. Are the removables (i.e. measuring ladle, Outer Cover, Chute, and Popper Cover) machine washable?

It's so light, fluffy and airy. It looking like a giant pokéball is why I bought it but I've actually used it so many times and I didn't think I would. Very easy to clean as well. Only complaint is that it does shoot quite a few unpopped kernels down the funnel and sometimes they pop as they're shooting out, launching them all over the place but it's funny more than it is annoying.

But because of the design the tunnel you place the corn in is very short causing a high amount of unpopped corn to come out early. We've place less corn than recommended hoping to avoid this. I think the tunnel needs to be longer because as soon as it turns on, unpopped corn comes flying out. Because it does work (just not well) and we use the lid with our other popcorn popper I gave it 2 stars.
