When Buffy the Vampire Slayer premiered 20 years ago, it broke ground. Literally, as the vamps crawled out of their graves and the Master arose to wreak havoc on the sleepy little one-Starbucks town of Sunnydale. But it also helped to usher in a new golden age of television, and made vampires cool again before they became all lame and sparkly for a time there. Sorry, but we were either Team Angel or Team Spike, definitely not Team Sparkly Stalker or Team Friend-Zoned Werewolf Who Isn't Anywhere Near as Cool as Oz.
Remember Buffy's motto from the first episode: Seize the moment, ‘cause tomorrow you might be dead! (Not fish of the day, as she thought when Willow said it back in Latin.) Seize every moment with this 12-month wall calendar, featuring photos of the cast, stills from seven great seasons of the show, and Dark Horse comic book art. It's been 20 great years, Buffy, and you've saved the world. A lot.
