Rated 5 out of 5 by Daniel Villasenor from Very great product! Satisfied mega-fan. I'm a huge megaman fan so this is going to be biased. I loved the buster. The sounds and lights. The only con i can think of is the weird cutoff on the arm makes it seem and feel rather small. The regular mega man buster is a nice big size the mostly covers the forearm while this one falls a little short. If i could change just one think it would be to make it the size of the mega buster

Fitting X's first upgraded buster to your arm is like becoming the leader of the 17th Unit of Maverick Hunters yourself. The detail on the X-Buster is spot and is replicated faithfully in physically tangible form. The paint applications are accurate and neat. While the X-Buster does have screw holes to hold it all together, it includes stickers that allows you to cover them (although I left those off because I was fine with the way the X-Buster was). Although 3 AAA batteries are not included, installing some really brings this piece to life. There are five areas that light up, four of them stay light as long as the X-Buster is one, and the main output where a blast would be emitted glows with every press of the button within the X-Buster to demonstrate a shot. Holding the button down for a couple of seconds allows for a charged shot, while holding it even longer allows for a fully charged shot. Both the sound effects for turning the X-Buster on and off is fitting, and all of the shot sounds are emulated perfect as if they were taken straight from the original SNES title. I couldn't be happier with my purchase (which is why I bought two, one to play with and one to keep MISB). I highly recommend this to anyone that's a fan of Mega Man X.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Megaman Zan from The X Buster of childhood dreams This buster is very cool. I’ve been waiting for this ever since the think geek mega buster went up for sale. The normal x buster Jakks Pacific put out last time was garbage. The quality of this Light buster is nice and looks pretty spot on. The lights and sounds go off in sync beautifully to mimic single shots and charged shots. The only thing they could’ve done differently is put the grip a bit more forward inside the buster. That would make it look perfect. There isn’t a stand which is a bit of a bummer but the box looks outstanding in comparison to the think geek box.

The sound effects, the ability to actually hold down the trigger and shoot the blasts with the same timing as the games is truly phenomenal!!!! The buster is light but feels well built. The LED lights could be a little brighter but still very nice. Using the stickers to cover the holes is a bad idea: they not only look kinda obvious up close but also come off very easily. The sounds are very accurate and very true to the MMX series. Well done.
