I bought a case of Hot Wheels and it was open two cars were missing and there was no treasure hunts in them. I think someone at the company of GameStop is opening the cases and going through them. And that's not right. I ordered one more case I'll try it again. But if it doesn't work out this'll time I'll let everybody know about this deal.

Supposed to be but not yet! Mattel has pulled back all announcements until details gave been confirmed. Keep checking!

Q: Can you explain why all the other cases I've ordered from Hot Wheels "stores" were all sealed and untouched and yours have either been cut open, top cut off, tape sliced, or cars dumped into non-Mattel cases? These cases are to be SEALED! Mattel notified!

Sounds like someone internal to GameStop is opening cases looking for Treasure Hunt or Super Treasure Hunt models, and replacing them with lesser-valued mainline cars. This is not unique to Gamestop--this is also common at Target and Walmart as well.

Q: Why have cases from Gamestop been opened? 36ct cases yet only 35 cars in the case. Other cases NOT sent in a Mattel shipped box, but a re-pack box? Treasure Hunts are non existent. I've seen many case unboxings where cases have been opened!

I believe that instruction is not clear to the warehouse employees that ship these items. For instance I ordered 2 cases of 36 cars and only received 2 hot wheels cars. Resulted in a really bad experience and a lengthy battle of getting my money refunded.  When I returned the 2 cars GameStop contacted me back and let me know I returned the the wrong items and would not issue my refund. I then had to get on the phone with GameStop customer support to explain the situation and ultimately I was able to get my money back.  Until they fix this issue I am reluctant to purchase from GameStop for Hot wheels promotions again
