Haven't played a "cartoon" based have since Crash Bandicoot and this one is great! Fine let the genre fool you this have gets pretty challenging!
Rayman Origins brings the classic side-scrolling hero back into the public eye, looking remarkably better than ever, for an all around good time every play session. The game offers lovely scenic back-rounds, exquisite animations, fluid framerates and game-play, along with a rambunctious cast to play as, featuring the "limb" guy himself, his big pal Globox, and the Teensies, with multiple skins to pick and choose from as you progress through the game. The visuals and sound design match the silly absurdity of the story very well, and the aforementioned scenery is superb, taking you to the mystical and musical desert lands, the harsh and mystic mountains, and the dry and withered Land Of The Livid Dead. Characters speak in silly Pig-Latin, and your list of enemies may consist of witches, angry birdies (no relation), spiky oranges, and carnivorous fish in watermelon water. The controls are very responsive, combat is a whacky ride, and occasionally as challenging as it is entertaining, and every world is beautifully created with not just genuine passion, but raw talent. The game does suffer from some repetition as you start nearing the end, but all the small challenges, like chasing the treasure, defeating the fathers of the Fairy Nymphs, who give you many skills and abilities for your quest, and getting near all of the hidden Loom chests can liven things up, as the game is incredibly rich in content, despite it's simplicity. If you enjoy games like Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, and Metroid, Rayman is sure to give you a run for your money, and is sure to entertain both kids and adults alike.
Weird game gut really funny and fun to play especially since you can smack around the other played lol
Rayman Origins is a beautiful and fun game it gives you a challenge to beat every level plus the Land of The Living Dead makes you want to keep replaying!
I love this game !!! I usually play as the blue rayman as 2 player. But I love the game. My bro and me are almost done with the game. I'm a girl.
