This game picks up after Crash of the Titans the character models are changed from Crash of the Titans Crunch looks awsome coco looks like a genius and crash looks more like his old self. The gameplay is much better then Crash of the Titans with more platforming adventure which is what crash fans want to see. A notable new ability is to put titans in your pocket for later. The cutscenes are a problem for me unless you love all sorts of animations you will love this but I just wanted regular looking cutscenes. Also the jokes are annoying and immature and can get annoying. I understand that its a crash game and it does not have to be serious but it would be nice for the game to take itself seriously sometimes like the originals. Something I noticed was that the game came out for Xbox 360 and ps2... why is it on ps2 but not ps3? Why did they release it on ps2 in the first place? Anyway overall the game is good especially for kids my little brother loves this game also its a huge improvement on titans with better character models and gameplay with good old platforming.
As a hardcore Crash fan, I didn't like Titans very much because it was so different from previous titles (it wasn't bad, though). When I got Mind Over Mutant, I didn't think it would be any better, nor did I think any changes from Titans would be made. But boy was I wrong. Immediatley you'll notice how much this game improves over Titans. The mojo system improved greatly. No longer does it give double tre pieces of mojo with the same value. Instead, there are different pieces of mojo with more value. You also get a mojo multiplier whenever you land a hit, but be warned, if you get hit in combat, the entire multiplier goes away. And the combat just feels more free flowing. And the BIGGEST improvement made, is that it's open world. In Titans it took you from level to level, which I thought was really boring, but this game you can free roam, even after you complete the main quest. I loved this game, and I really wished there was going to be a seqel to it, but it doesn't look good. But maybe someday where will be. And if they use this type of style and gameplay, it will be great.
The first time I played the demo of this game, I loved it but if u play it too much u won't like it anymore.
The last crash is the best.I am sad their will be no more but still everything is reviewed badly it's really that good.
I enjoyed all the crash games, from 1 to Mind Over Mutant. I will admit that at times in game, the going get really tough, but eventually you beat the part. Then you get lost, pain in the butt. But over all, this is a rent not a buy unless you really love crash.
