Being 2011 right now, there isn't any other college basketball game out there. There is a good way that you can make this a "college hoops 2k11" game. first, you have to have xbox live/psn to be able to do so. You can go on 2k share where you can download the full 10-11 college rosters to play. People around the world create teams and players that actually look like the players so you can use them in college hoops 2k8. I highly recommend this game!
Once again, 2K has produced an amazing game that easily betters the EA version. The graphics of College Hoops absolutely blew me away. The game has drastically improved from last year, and a personal owner of both, I can easily name 5 great improvements to this year's game. 1. The graphics are at least twice as good and the controls let you dominate on either side of the ball. 2. Game modes are far better, as they now feature an improved legacy mode with better recruiting and other improved off court moves. 3. If you are a true college hoops maniac like me, you can edit player names to make them what they are in real life unlike having the fake names made by the computer. 4. The new 6th man feature increases or decreases how well your players perform based on the crowd's noise level and excitement. 5. New on-court controls enable you to have several play options with the touch of a button. I could go on and on about how much better the game is this year and all of the improvements, but I'm just going to tell you now that if you are looking for a great college hoops experience, this is the game for you.
I am still playing 2k8 and i know there are many others playing this game. 2K needs to make another college hoops game. EA was no competition to this
This game is still great in 2011, i wish 2k would make a another game. You can play legacy forever and it never gets old.
Although this is the greatest college basketball game ever, it does have some issues. The graphics of the players are a little iffy and you don't make all of your layups, i mean i know you shouldn't make them all but its a lot. Yet there are so many great things about this game to. The court, players (not faces), fans all look real and give a very good appeal. Also you can create a player, team, plays, and chants. The recruiting in legacy could also be improved a little. Overall this is the best college basketball game ever.
