Product Description
Pokemon Emerald takes place over land and sea and pits you against the Team Aqua and Team Magma from Saphire and Ruby. This time around, Pokemon will show off their moves prior to battle, perhaps as a sort of taunt. Nintendo also added some new options to the game. A new Battle Frontier area has you play through seven big battles. The Battle Dome places you in a tournament in which only three Pokemon can participate. The Battle Tube has you select from three entrances and attempt to make your way to a goal.
You’re an aspiring Pokemon Trainer and new to Littleroot Town. You'll enter the neighborhood with a truckload of boxes, eager to explore your new environment. A challenge awaits you there, where you must choose from three Pokemon - Torchic, Mudkip or Treecko. Once you decide, you can begin your quest to become the world's greatest Pokemon Trainer.
The Battle Frontier of Pokemon Emerald brings together seven battle facilities. Each area provides a unique battle experience. Special Trainers called Frontier Brains head each facility and they will test every aspect of your combat skills. Your victories will be memorialized in the form of Frontier Symbols, and you must defeat the Frontier Brain at each location several times in order to earn your awards.

It was in very good condition for a used game, the only thing that needed to be done was replace the battery inside so clock based events would work, but that's a given since it's an old game.
Surprised it was original and in good condition.
This game is very fun and is one of my favorite generations of Pokémon. Overall there’s nothing bad I can say about the game. Just know when buying this game that it is an older game.
I've seen a lot of reviews talking about the internal batteries.... Let me just start by saying this, do not expect to get a cartridge of any 3rd gen pokemon games with a working internal battery, the games are OLD so therefore don't be hoping for a fresh battery in your game. That being said, I am very happy with my purchase. I bought this game to relieve a great part of my childhood. All I had to do was throw a new battery in and it's like new. Cartridge is in very good condition, even the sticker has no damage to it. Will be buying a copy of sapphire from gamestop in the near future.
There's a lot of positive things to say about my experience. First off, the cartridge itself was in amazing condition for being used. Second, the product arrived three days earlier than the projected arrival date. Third, it's not even a fake or bootleg game (which I would never expect from GameStop but never hurts to check). Only downside is the internal battery was dead... luckily I knew another place which will replace the battery. Overall, I am more than satisfied with the product and the services given.
