Amazing game it feels like I’m playing a game of chess....very strategic and relies on the economic system it’s very life like....it’s 2nd on my empire building games....total war is my #1 but it’s not on console
If you don’t enjoy thinking and putting time into something then this isn’t the game for you, it has great detail and is loads of fun if you can learn how to play it.
My first time playing this sort of game. Actually very well laid out in the campaign mode on learning how to trade and build towns, build troops. Really enjoying this game. Have a lot to learn still with balancing trade and money but the campaign mode really helps to get the basics and learn how to do everything. Glad i purchased this game.

This game is just not that great. I was so hyped too. Not at all what I thought it would be, which was a great Medieval city/empire manager. What I got was some stupid trading sim overly saturated with insignificant goods just to increase difficulty. The graphics are nice but that's not saying much as they will bore you within the first hour. I won't be playing any more of this until after the first patch, to see what the devs actually have in mind for this. The amount of DLC that is going to come scares me, as the game now seems very much like a base for them to build on and not a fully fleshed out title in itself. NO siege equipment, NO town walls, and the most asinine battle system in a strategy yet, it quite literally could have been removed entirely and it would have made the game better and wouldn't have misled so many people by it's premise. This is very much a one trick pony, you either trade or you don't play the game, simple as that. I will not compare this to any other game as doing so will tarnish the reputation of those other games and artificially hype you up for this. The game is JUST. NOT. GOOD. There are 20 resources in the game, you start with a city producing 5. So right off of the bat you already control 25% of the possible resources. Make 3 more towns, with a fourth being the town that consumes your final products, rinse and repeat. Armies are INSANELY expensive to field so military conquest is seriously out of the question. This is and only ever will be some poor attempt at a trading game. And this is $60 on PS4, have mercy on those poor souls who are about to buy this, I almost did but have since canceled my preorder for that version as a result of it's release on PC. I don't know how to say this, but there is no point whatsoever to releasing this on PS4, doing so is going to bomb the reviews for this game even more than they will be from the computer version. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME FOR $60. It is $20 less on PC.
