Hear enemies and objects from all angles with Dolby® Headphone 7.1 surround sound and optimize chat levels and game sounds with the built-in MixAmp technology. The included ASTRO Command Center software allows Pros and Livestreamers to tune every input and output parameter of the A50 precisely configure it for their specific setup. For even more flexibility, the optional A50 Mod Kit allows users to add a synthetic leather headband and ear cushions for improved noise-cancellation and comfort. Additional Base Stations, sold separately, allow users to use the Xbox One headset on the PlayStation 4. For VR gamers, the A50 will fit perfectly over the HTC Vive, Oculus, or PS VR and deliver an immersive audio experience.

The updates are extremely annoying and frequent. It’s an xbox headset That needs to be connected to a pc for updates. It isn’t convenient or user friendly in that way. Unfortunately you have to update the base and headset seperately. The sound on the other hand while being used is absolutely phenomenal. If it isn’t too much of a pain for you to follow the updates it is a great headset.

So this will be my third headset and only really sticking with it due to the insurance I have on the headset but I am actively looking for another brand, I have jr a problem with all the headsets I’ve had between connectivity to charging. Each they have all been within 3 months tops and I am not into slamming headphones ( I take care of my things) I spoke with Astro support which sucks they keep giving me troubleshooting steps which I’ve done over and over. Nothing helps I just have to keep bringing it back to the store and wait for another 2 weeks to get another 1 in the mail because no one holds stock on this brand. WASTE OF TIME! If you get a pair that works it’s good but I have not had any luck for 1 year strong.

Comfortable headset that provides excellent sound quality and an intuitive equalizer to balance "chat" and "game" audio on the fly. The microphone also does a great job filtering out background noises when playing games in a busy room which means I can continue chatting with friends without them hearing everything thats going on around me. The battery lasts at least 14 hours when fully charged and seems to recharge quickly once returned to the charge dock. Its easy to set up out of the box and easy to use once linked to the system. I have used a handful of cheaper wireless headsets over the last 2 years but would recommend to anyone that can afford the higher asking price, to just go for the A50's. The other wireless products I've used dont evek come close.
Headset was easy to connect, easy to use. No issues and everyone I talk to sounds like I am speaking to them in HD. Love it!
When I first bought them I had to reset the headset because of would not connect. That seemed to fix the problem for a while and then the issue seemed to come back and now I can't get them to connect properly at all. Been on touch with Astro and the solutions they have provided so far have not worked.
