I bought 2 sets of these (so 4 racquets) because the sales associate said they were a lot of fun. You can’t play the real game with these, just a single portion of the game. You should tell people that if you have your sales team pushing these. They are completely useless to me.
I bought these when I bought Mario Tennis Aces, but I quickly learned that they are missing a key feature: wrist strap adjusters. They have the strap, but no way to secure it, they are clunky in their execution as well, in that I'm constantly afraid part is going to break off and go flying into a wall or t.v. Do not purchase these, if you wish to use Swing Mode in Mario Tennis Aces just use the wrist strap add-on provided with every Joy-con instead.
When you hold the racket you push buttons on the joy con accidentally. They strap doesnt tighten and flies all over. More than once, It went over the joystick and moved me off the screen.
This is a really fun way to play. Reminds me of the Wii days with the Wii Sports Tennis. Works really well and comes with a safety strap as well. My kids are having fun with it right now!
I thought you would use the racket to actually play the game but you still need to use the buttons. So having the rackets makes no sense. They just make the joy cons bulky. A waste of money.
