Was going to keep it inbox but after I caved and took it out I am some much more impressed and happy with my purchase.
Great buy! My son loved it! Good quality toy or more like collectible!!
I was so happy when I found this in my local store because I missed the first run due to forgetting to do a preorder.
Surprisingly acurate even down to the proton pack. I ended up buying 4 of them, need i say more.
This feels like something that should've been made years ago. Why Sony/Columbia Pictures and Hasbro waited this long is beyond me. I hope he's a sign of crossovers to come, because I'd love to see more pop culture icons become Transformers. *coughK.I.T.T.cough* This is an extensive retool of the Combiner Wars Voyager Class Hot Spot/Onslaught/Inferno mold (some people call it "shared engineering" but this straight up reuses that original mold's parts to some degree) and they made it look great. In both modes! Transformation might be painfully simple, but it's smooth enough that it's not bland or a chore. I love how they made the gear on the roof double as his Proton Pack and it works really well. The only problems I foresee with it are the abundance of rubber parts and whether or not they'll stand the test of time. And if they do, will the plastic? (The rubber Hasbro has used in recent years has had chemical problems in which the rubber eats through the plastic a bit. (Not all the way through, but it's unsightly.) All in all, it's a nice figure and Hasbro clearly put some effort into this one, I do recommend it simply as something fun. If you're a fan of either property, it's a no-brainer.
