I was there when they made the surprise announcement, I Pre Ordered the LAST ONE. It’s even better then I thought it was. I was most surprised by the look & size also it’s Backwards compatible with PS4.
Im absolutely blown away by how great this console is. Was lucky enough to preorder this beauty back in September and now have it in my hands. Spider-Man Miles Morales and Demon’s Souls are two stunning games that I’m glad I was able to get with this awesome bundle.
It’s fast. Games look great. It’s good if you get it at retail. Triggers on the controllers are cool. Biggest problem is the paltry storage. I bought the Pro bundle and it left me short of affording extra storage. So I keep having to shuffle games back and forth on external USB storage. Other than that it’s awesome.

The PS5 is a great system. I prefer the menu in the PS5 to that of the XBOX series X/S. Load times are fast, and the controller really is next gen. I know people have talked about the haptic feedback rumble, but until you play Astro’s playroom you don’t really know how different it is from the last PlayStation generation of controller or even the XBOX controllers. The only downside is the size of the console. It is really big and not going to fit in everyone’s preferred location.
I’ve only had it for a few weeks but it’s been getting used 8-10 hours a day between the 3 of us. Works like a charm. Loads super fast.
