I bought two of these for mine and my brother's laptops. I've found mine to work rather well, it keeps my laptop from getting really hot. My brother says that it doesn't really help cool down his laptop, but it does help distribute the air and make it so the heat coming off doesn't melt the plastic coating on his desk. The fans make a little whirring noise and there's a blue light that comes on when it's plugged in. It would be nice if there was a way to toggle the power on and off from your computer.
Louder and thicker than I expected. Blue LEDs are completely unnecessary. It should have an on/off switch because it continues to run when the laptop is suspended. Still, it suffices and the USB pass-through connection is nice.

Great laptop fan. Could be a bit more powerful for the purposes I'm using it in. It kinda spins at a low idle. Foldable legs to lie flat would have been nice but the cord packing away is super appreciated. Also, the USB power having a passthrough so you don't have to lose a USB port is nice.

This cooling pad is well with the 20.00 I spent! I would always sweat from my new laptop getting very warm. I did an online chat with a Dell rep and they recommended this cooling pad. I no longer sweat from my warm laptop!
