this is an O.K memory card, not that much is flawed with this, (Although it can get stuck in the tray sometimes, and there's a small chance it slows down your console if you keep it in all the time). The reasons you should get this is because if you are going to bring some of your games to a friends or relatives house, you can just bring this instead of bringing your whole Wii. The next thing is the memory itself, once you think about it, 2.0GB isn't that bad of a deal, it can save a lot of games. Just beware of one thing, you don't really need it until you buy a lot of games and you don't have any memory left on your Wii, But as I explained before, it can still come to use if you wanna bring your games places. I think This is a pretty good product for a person who is on the move a lot, or has no more room on their Wii system.
The 2 gigabyte SD memory card for wii is a great thing to have if you have lots of games or like to download things to your wii. It easily slides into your SD card slot and lets you save tons of games files and downloadable goodies from the wii shop channel. It lasts a good while and stays functional for... well forever! Not once have I had a glitch or even a loss of data. A fun thing to do is to plug it into the SD card slot for your computer and download some pictures of friends, family, etc., and when you're done plug into the wii and edit the pictures in the photo channel. I have to say, after getting bored of the other games I had I put some pictures in my wii and have been entertained for hours by the photo channel, in fact I still haven't gotten bored of it. The downside though, it wont let you save certain channels or certain games to it. All in all, it's a great asset to have so if you have a wii I definitely recommend this or even the 1GB card.
It was pretty good for a while, it lets me take pictures on my camera and let me bring my save file to my friend's house, Until one day I was preparing to go to the city, and I put the SD card into my camera, and my camera froze... When I got back from the city, I tried putting it back in the Wii. I loaded up the data management and it said "inserted device is not an SD Card"! I Think it was a freak thing though, probably with my camera, and not the Wii itself. I recommend this, but not for taking pictures 0.o! Only buy it if you receive a gift card or something, but if you just have cash get a Wii Points Card :D. But seriously, try this if you need a way to bring save files on the go or if you run out of system memory, because for that this works excellently.
This card, first of all, cannot save all game files. It can, however, allow you to save snapshots of Animal Crossing and Super Smash Bros. without wasting your internal space. Unfortunately, I have only copied my save of LEGO Star Wars to the SD card. It advertises the ability to backup your Virtual Console games, but I can't even copy my Super Mario Bros. game to it. It helps to just be able to utilize all the picture taking without wasting your Wii system memory. I'm hoping to try saving pictures from my computer to it to upload to the Photo Channel, but it also is so small and fits so well into the system that you can forget it's there so easily. But if you love taking pictures on whatever games supports that, you'd be well off to pick this up.
Card was not for Wii, also not a compatible SD card.
