Controller was in reasonable shape, with a minor scratch, but had controller drift. I understand that it is used, but I expected that it would have been inspected for such a common problem.

I had exchange my blue joy-con for the birthday red one....it works great
I bought the mario odyssey left and right joy cons and I couldn't be more happy with my purchase it's been almost a month, I've had no issues so far they function like new and they look really nice on my switch!
I bought this thinking I'd have a decent chance at getting a set of cool colored controllers for my originally grey switch. Sadly, this used Mario Red joycon would not click into my switch. No problem, I'm thinking, I'll just go exchange it at a local store. Oh wait, only one store in the area even has any colored joycons and all the ones they have are also broken. Why did I waste my time? Don't buy used controllers from GameStop, lesson learned...
Responsive controls; but I'm a man, not a Kokiri... The itty bitty size makes using the Joy-Con by itself challenging. Also loses signal a lot because of where the infrared reader is.
