This is a cute little add-on for your Switch. However, if you put the main case on (for the body of the Switch) you CANNOT put it in the charge and, thus, you will have to remove that part if you want to connect it for TV play. That, and it doesn't cover the unit snug means you get a bit of plastic rattle when you play. It's good for Skyrim fans who are always on the go and want that little extra to display their love of the game. For everyone else, not so much.
I thought it came with screen protectors but it is just the case for the console and joycons. Works great and easy to use. Wish it would fit in the dock though.
I bought this a little while ago to give myself time to really see how I felt about it. So here are my thoughts on this case. The section for the body of the switch has two hinges at the bottom to men it easier to take the case on and off and it feels sturdy. However, if you dock your switch often, you will find yourself constantly taking this case off and putting it back on. I stopped using this piece after about three days. The joycon protectors have a great design, but they are loose and make it hard to hit the - and + buttons. They aren't so loose that you feel like they will fall off, but its enough to notice that the joycon shifts inside of it when gaming. The case only has a small hole for the - and + buttons which makes it hard to use the buttons with your thumb. I feel lile you eitger have to use your thumbnails or contort your hands to get a different finger into place.
The joy-con cases are two-piece shells that clamps into place. The joy-con cases are nice and have a snowy design to match Skyrim's established climate, though I am not entirely sure if there is a particular image depicted on it, because it is hard to tell. However, the joy-con cases feel a little loose and are a little bit difficult to remove for me. The case that covers the Switch itself is one piece connected by a hinge that easily snaps open and closed, which is helpful since the case prevents the Switch from being docked. The backs of the case are glossy black, making it look very sleek, but also invites fingerprint stains.
I bought this cuz I love Skyrim and it looks great on my console and joycons. Only reason I gave it 3 stars is because you can not dock the switch with the case on. That's a real bummer
