Pokemon Emerald Version - Game Boy Advance

Pokemon Emerald takes place over land and sea and pits you against the Team Aqua and Team Magma from Saphire and Ruby. This time around, Pokemon will show off their moves prior to battle, perhaps as a sort of taunt. Nintendo also added some new options to the game. A new Battle Frontier area has you play through seven big battles. The Battle Dome places you in a tournament in which only three Pokemon can participate. The Battle Tube has you select from three entrances and attempt to make your way to a goal.

You’re an aspiring Pokemon Trainer and new to Littleroot Town. You'll enter the neighborhood with a truckload of boxes, eager to explore your new environment. A challenge awaits you there, where you must choose from three Pokemon - Torchic, Mudkip or Treecko. Once you decide, you can begin your quest to become the world's greatest Pokemon Trainer.

The Battle Frontier of Pokemon Emerald brings together seven battle facilities. Each area provides a unique battle experience. Special Trainers called Frontier Brains head each facility and they will test every aspect of your combat skills. Your victories will be memorialized in the form of Frontier Symbols, and you must defeat the Frontier Brain at each location several times in order to earn your awards.
