All-in-all, the TL114 is keyless convenience you can trust, every time. A single 9V battery (included) can turbocharge the lock for up to a year of regular, daily use. A low-battery warning signals when it's time to replace the batteries. In the case of a complete battery drain, you can temporarily power the TL114 by connecting an external power bank to the emergency micro-USB port. The TL114's expert craftsmanship is able to withstand direct water sprays, ice damming and general contact with water. Fully functions in extreme weather temperatures as cold as 4° F and as hot as 140° F. A security lockout feature disables the Tl114's keypad after five incorrect entry attempts in a row. This prevents brute-force style attempts to gain entry. During the lockout, the physical key can still be used to unlock the door. The programmable deadbolt also features a special Code Disguise, which adds additional safeguards. This security option makes it harder for nosy neighbors and prying eyes to discern your actual password. Enter any combination up to 12 digits when you enter your code. So long as your correct passcode sequence is entered, the door will unlock. E.g., if your passcode is 038060, then 112038060765 will unlock the TL114, as will 345038060755 and any other combination that includes 038060.
