The Xbox Series X Controller is are very good Controller, however, I wanted more grip after having used a Microsoft "Patrol" controller with rubber grips. I looked at stick on grip options and felt they would loose adhesion over time. I liked the look of the Otterbox Controller Shell and have to say I am really happy with the fit, finish and over all quality of the shell. The shell fits perfectly and is very easy to install.. There are two sets of grips for your preference of feel. One set has a little rougher texture, which is the option I went with. The Otterbox shell may surprise you when you fit it to the controller, because it adds a little weight (not much), and quite a bit of girth. It is a much bigger controller with the shell attached, but I have found that I like the bigger size, feel, and grip. You may not be able to use all of your accessories due to the shell, so make sure you are ok with that before you buy. The rechargeable battery and USB "C" cord for charging is no problem with the shell attached. I imagine the shell will protect the controller from damage, however, I don't plan to test its ability to do so. I purchased the shell for the feel and added grip and am very happy with the product.
I received my order put them on and the charging dock for the X controller now will not charge the controllers the cases put to much of a gap for the contacts to touch

He enjoys the grips because it provides a more comfortable surface to hold than the factory remote control. It also provides an easier grip when his hands sweat. He wishes that I got it for him when he got the gaming system.

It's a really nice upgrade to your basic Xbox One or X|S controllers! the grips are great do not impeded movement at all and there is space in the reverse for the battery pack to be accessed. Comes with 2 sets of gribs so you can choose between the texture. It will add a little bulk to the controller but not weight and are very tight to the surface of the controller. No wobble or jitters when playing.
