I missed ordering on the release date! A week later, I am on gamestop's website and it shows in stock? Wow. no way I'm thinking. Must be a glitch! I added it to my cart instantly and paid. I could right away from the packing that this was clearly a effort to designers to make something special. All the boxes, even the inside of the boxes, have custom printing. Sometimes I tell myself I can't keep all my boxes but this is one set of packaging I plan to keep and probably display.. Comes with vertical stand, and even that is in a custom-printed box in place of the bland white boxes we usually get. The stand itself is a standard dark-grey but looks like it will match well with console and not distract from it. The console itself, I was actually amazed because I first saw the back (port/plug area) and even all that was labeled in bright yellow on the blue case color. The case has art on virtually every side. Some text in English, Japanese, barcodes. All in keeping with the CyperPunk theme. Note: you will see what appears "scratched and worn-looking" on some part of it. That is of course intentional! (at first I thought "they messed-up the printing") but of course not -- it's all the intended look. There is even subtle black-on-grey printing in areas I didn't even notice at first. There is really NO angle of this box that is NOT "special" in every way. I keep finding new stuff as I examine it. Haven't looked at controller yet. I have not plugged-it in yet. I was just too excited; had to write this review. I'm not sure what the odds are of finding one. I've missed out on lots of special editions (like the Sony 500M console) and this time I was just lucky to be able to place an order at the right time.
