Are these headphones meant for xbox

Yes but you can’t connect it wirelessly to Xbox the adapter doesn’t work with the Xbox, it does work with the ps4, for you too use the headset on Xbox you would have to use the 3.5 aux cord.

Why is this labeled a universal wireless headset if it can't be connected via wireless to an Xbox and why isn't the Xbox version on this site?

Because it is a Universal Wireless headset. With most of the other devices it will work wireless. But for the Xbox, it must be hard wired with a 3.5 jack. You really think for one second, that Sony and Microsoft would work together and allow a headset to work on both systems flawlessly?! Lol

Xbox does not have the USB -C connection for the headset mated bluetooth device. otherwise you have to run them wired. if you want wireless headset for XBOX you need to get the headset that is mated for it.

The box that the headphones were in was torn open and someone had made a really bad attempt at taping it shut. Didn't even expect them to be inside, but they were. They are clearly used, stains on the headband and crust on the cords. I tried to use them anyways, and can't get any sound out of them on PC/Switch/Android. Contacted customer support.
