Product Details:

Long before the Galactic Civil War, an epic drama begins. Engage in this saga set in the Golden Age of the Republic - over 4,000 years before the first Star Wars film, when both Jedi and Sith number in the thousands. With the Galaxy reeling from a recent conflict with the Dark Lords, the ongoing battle between the Jedi and the Sith rages on. Your actions determine the outcome of this colossal galactic war - and your destiny as a Jedi.

Feats:

Your character can be customized by choosing or focusing on different skills, feats and Force powers throughout the course of the game. This customization allows you to play a variety of ways, and adds to the overall replayability of the game. The following list is just a sample of the many different feats available to the player. More to come...

Combat Logic Upgrade - The droid is fitted with the most basic combat programming, allowing for simple but effective defense maneuvers. This feat grants +2 to defense and is always active. Prerequisite: Droid

Force Jump - The Jedi knows that if diplomacy fails, combat must be swift and decisive. When an opponent at range is targeted with a melee attack, this feat allows Guardians to make a quick series of jumps and rolls to close the distance almost instantly. This feat is automatic when targeting opponents with a melee attack from more than 10 meters away. Prerequisite: Jedi Guardian

Jedi Defense - This feat allows a character with an equipped lightsaber to deflect blaster bolts at any time. When a character is fired upon, an opposed roll is made against the attack. If the result is greater than the attack roll, the blaster bolt is deflected. If the attack is beaten by 10 or more, the bolt is deflected back at the enemy. Prerequisites: Only available to Jedi classes. All Jedi classes receive this feat at 1st level.

Scoundrel's Luck - Scoundrels have a knack for getting in trouble, but to compensate, they also possess an incredible instinct for survival. This manifests as a truly useful +2 to defense. This feat is always active. Prerequisite: Scoundrel

Whirlwind Attack - This feat allows a character an extra melee weapon attack per round with a +4 bonus to hit. Characters suffer -6 to Defense while using this feat and for 3 seconds afterwards (i.e. an enemy's attack). Prerequisites: Dexterity 13+, base attack +6

Force Powers:

Your character can be customized by choosing or focusing on different skills, feats and Force powers throughout the course of the game. This customization allows you to play a variety of ways, and adds to the overall replayability of the game. The following list is just a sample of the many different Force powers available to the player. More to come...

Affect Mind - Affect Mind enables persuasive use of the Force. Once a Jedi has this power, extra options will appear in conversations as appropriate. Success is not guaranteed for extreme commands or if the target is strong willed. This power does not affect droids. Only the main player character can select this power during level-up.

Choke - This power constricts the throat of a target at range, causing damage unless a Fortitude save is made, DC 5 + the character's levels as a Jedi + the character's Wisdom and Charisma modifiers. Failure stuns the target for 6 seconds, inflicts double the attacking character's levels as a Jedi in damage, and imparts a temporary (24 second) -4 penalty to Constitution, Dexterity and Strength. A successful save results in no effect. This power does not affect droids.

Force Armor - When this power is activated, the Jedi is temporarily granted a +6 bonus to Defense and all saving throws. The effect lasts for 20 seconds. Restricted: Cannot be wearing armor

Lightning - This power unleashes an energy attack on all hostile creatures within 10 meters of a target enemy. Victims suffer 1-6 points of damage per each of the attacking character's levels as a Jedi. A successful Will save at a DC of 5 + the character's levels as a Jedi + the character's Wisdom and Charisma modifiers reduces damage by half. Restricted: Cannot be wearing armor

Throw Lightsaber - Throw Lightsaber targets enemies at least 10 meters away. The Jedi attacks with his normal bonuses or penalties, but success confers an automatic critical hit on the target. Restricted: Requires lightsaber

Skills:

Your character can be customized by choosing or focusing on differentskills, feats and Force powers throughout the course of the game. This customization allows you to play a variety of ways, and adds to the overall replayability of the game. Players can choose to gain ranks in any number of eight different skills, listed below.

Awareness - Ranks in this skill increase your character's perception of the environment around them. It allows you to detect enemies who may be in stealth mode (keeps you from walking into a nasty ambush), as well as enables you to detect traps such as mines before you set them off.

Computer Programming - Imagine slicing into the computer bank of an enemy base and shutting down their "impenetrable" security systems. Or better yet, how about overloading a power conduit in the soldier barracks so that it explodes in an electrical storm of arcing lightning!

Demolition - Disarming explosive mines blocking your path is handy, but we all know the real fun comes when you set up a little surprise to reduce that platoon of enemy assault droids into pocket sized bits of shrapnel.

Persuasion - Blasters aren't the only way to solve your problems. A high Persuasion skill and some fast talking can often be just as effective as heavy firepower... and financially gratifying when it comes time to collect the rewards for all your hard work.

Repair - Remember when Luke was working on R2-D2 in Episode IV? You think anybody can just start tinkering with a droid and get it working again? Hey, that takes skill. And if you know how to fix your own droids, it's a simple matter to make a few modifications to that disabled security droid in the enemy base...

Security - See that reinforced weapons locker in the corner? You just know there's some premium equipment inside. Heavy blasters, repeating carbines, rifles, fragmentation grenades... the real serious stuff. Too bad it'll take you until next week to get through that armor plating. If only you knew some trick to get it open.

Stealth - How many Sith soldiers does it take to capture one Republic spy? Depends if they can see him or not. They can't get you if they don't even know you're there. At least, they won't know until it's too late.

Treat Injury - Okay, let's be honest here - you play with blasters and someone's going to get hurt. Hurt bad. And often. Sure, you can always whip out a med pack if you're hit. But when you're wounded and you've got half a dozen war droids firing in your direction, a med pack just isn't going to cut it. Not unless you know how to use it.
