Awesome
One of my all time favorites. I've played it since I was 5 and still love it. I do think that the PC version is easier to use, but still this is a great game. There is no game that is a better theme park builder game than this. This game is a blast and is worth every cent.

Awesome Game
I played this game a LONG time ago and loved it. At first it just takes time to used to the control, but then you get addicted to it. You can build pretty much anything that a theme park can build. You can build the tallest rollercoaster or have it go deep underground, or both. You can build ponds, hills, holes, paths, and any roller coaster. Theres water rides, regular rollercoaster, and small rides...everthing. Just try not to kill your customers, like I did once. hahah it's a very fun game in my opinion.

Fun once you learn the Controls.
The Controls for this game are VERY hard. The hardest i have ever played. But is really fun and addicting once you learn them. I was happy they made a X box version and overall its a really good game.

Great game overall, but a bit challenging.
Rollercoaster Tycoon for the xbox is a great game. Because if you dont have a computer you can play it on your xbox. Thats what i loved about it. It is not that challenging if you know what your doing, its common sense. The sounds are realistic and the game will keep you busy for weeks. I love the rollercoasters and rides in the game. The graphics could of been better, and you dont get alot of money to start with. The conrtols are a little wierd though,its like your xbox is an computer, so if your not good at the computer than you might wanna rent this first from your local video store. Overall its not that bad i used to rent it all the time until i ordered it online. If you love theme parks, then a definitley must buy.

get the pc version
People wanting to buy this port to the xbox, heed my warning, the control scheme is one of the hardest in any game that I have ever played. Managing your park can be difficult because it might take you a long time if you're a beginner. Even an experienced vet will have a hard time. Besides the control scheme gameplay is exactly like the pc. Same concept complete scenario goals and move on to other park I warn non patient gamers that you my have to wait awhile when you open your new park to start building six flags rollercoasters since usually you start with a budget of 10000$ and earn money from there although you can get a loan. The graphics in this game are 2d, a little better than sim city on super nes. The sound is what you'd expect from a 1998 remake. Replay value is very high on pc, not xbox because if you're like me you'll go to a themepark and think to yourself, how could I make this park better? You will go on and off for quite sometime. If you are a beginner though, you will have some problems in the beginning just getting used to managing your park. Overall this is an okay game, but did not deserve a port to to the xbox. If you have a pc, buy it for that. If you enjoy this game you should try to get 2 &3 since they are better.
