Obscure is a fun game, if you like those stupid horror movies where teens get killed, you'll like the storyline. Five stereotypical teens (Brain, Jock, Nerd, Tomboy, and the Punk) get locked in a creepy school with a variety of disgusting monsters crawiling all over the place. The teens dialouge is good. Wern't expecting that, were you? The music is also creepy, and the school itself is amazingly desinged. The graphics on the kids and the school look great too. I do have one problem though, and it kind of ruins the game, the controls are not good at all. The set-up as a whole is just bad, which can make a diffrence if you're surrounded by pesky little gremlins. The other small issiue is that you have to FIND save disks so you can save you're game. On a more psoitive note, the two player cooapritave multi-player is fun, there are lots of weapons to find, and some fun puzzels to solve. In the end you don't get much replay value, i'm sorry to say. Sure you get new costumes for characters (Unless they died during the game), The making of Obscure video, tow music videos from Sum 41 and Span, a new menu and some better weapons, but in the end, this doesn't add up to much. All in all I recomend Obscure to anybody who likes survival horror, people who have a lot of patience, and anyone who just wants something to do!
