MVP Baseball 2005
Gameplay holds up
The score is based on the year it came out in which is 2005. MVP Baseball 2005 is still a blast to play in 2011. There are a lot of options for your Dynasty and Owner modes. Dynasty Mode you can play a ridiculous 120 seaons. Owner Mode for 30. Basically Owner Mode is an expanded Dynasty Mode when it comes to features. You can build your own stadium. As you improve profits during seasons you can improve your stadium and ball club altogether ( get better players to meet your needs ). When you upgrade your ballpark you can buy stores, concession stands, improve your seating capacity, change your grass etc. etc. Want a player that was not in the game prior to its release in 2005 create em and put him into free agency and you can sign him to a contract. If you do not give some players a chance to play on occasion you will get emails in your inbox of them whining and complaining about it. The commentary is basic by 2011 standards but good for the time it was released. Graphics are serviceable and the major stars look pretty close to what they would look like in real life. Pitching uses a meter that is still exceptional. This is still a great game to play.
Way too good
This game was way too good for 2005. Wish it would come back soon. Definitely better than any baseball game out now.
This game made my rainy days in the summer fun. buy it, it is the least boring game i've ever played besides madden 07 when it first came out
