Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30
Beats out any modern WWII game: hands down
I had this game when I was a little younger for the original Xbox platform. Keep in mind I owned almost every Call of Duty and Medal of Honer game that was released for the original Xbox (not to mention now for the 360). Even with having played all those games I can honestly say it is if not the best, one of the best WWII games that was released on a 6th generation platform. They don't sell this game anymore obviously because its for original Xbox, but I've been praying for a remake but am completely willing to buy the system again for this game.
Very good game.
Overall this is a very good game. The graphics are good and the levels are well designed. The controls work decent. I am used to running up and shooting the enemy and this game is different as you actually need a strategy and it is a nice change of pace. The storyline is well told and probably one of the best I have seen in a World War 2 shooter. The game features a lot of innovation as to how you partake in the missions. I like being the guy in control issuing the orders but thank goodness I do not have to in real life. I suggest testing out different strategies when it comes to your squads. This is probably one of the better shooters available last generation and it does offer some fun to be had. I recommend picking it up.
Brothers in arms ROAD TO HILL 30
Brothers in arms road to hill 30 in my opinion could have had a bit of a better ending, the graphics were very well done except for when they talk which is a hard thing to animate sometimes the characters mouth will not move when they talk but in all i liked the graphics. The sound was well done i had no problems with the sound. The game play was one of the best games i have ever played. I am never going to sell this game. The story line could have had a better ending but they made a second game that i haven't played so i haven't gotten to the end yet so i guess i can't really judge the end of the game. The controls could have been better. I did not like how you throw the grenades. I always went to switch my squads and ended up killing them from a grenade. I think that the left trigger should throw the grenades not the white button. The game was challenging but still beatable. I beat it in about a week because i have other things to do other than play games, but it did have a lot of challenging challenges closer to the second half of the game. I enjoyed this game very much and hope that those of you who are hoping to buy this game do and that you enjoy it as much as i did.
BIA: Road to Hill 30
This is one of THE BEST WWII games out there on the market. Im sure you are wondering " An kindof outdated game,hmmm...how could this actually be good?" Well, its a wonderful game becuase of the sound. It's superb! How you can Flank, supress, and keep your enimies pinned down and attack them when they are like that is AWSOME!..It's exellent becuase you can issue squad command orders. It's pretty much your choice of who lives and who dies by the commands. Now, the only thing i can dislike about the game is that I get mixed up with the squad contols, nobody else that I know does, so i guess it's just me. But overall, this is an Exellent game! GO OUT AND BUY IT! Game Play: 10/10 Graphics: 9/10 (only becuase it's and oldish game, but they are still good) Storyline: 10/10
what are you talking about
This game is awesome, it puts every ww2 games on xbox to rest, it has everything, a squad to command, and you get to fight as the 101st. With the next game coming out which is very anticipated, this game is the mother of the series. Launching the series into fame! The game is just plane fun to play and fun to use your squad tactics. Its even fun to do split screen because you both control squads to fight against each other ( which is always fun to play with your bro, or friend). This game is all around great. The graphics are good for an original xbox game. It improves on call of duty and features a lot more features then call of duty. This game help the series lunch and eventually helping to make the huge next gen ww2, heck shooter ever anticipated.
Hour of Victory was better...
I have played many terrible games (Halo, Hour of Victory, Kengo, etc.), but this comes up just shy of 1st. The hit detection is the worst I have ever seen. You can stand point blank and unload an entire clip and they won't die. The whole flanking thing gets old real quick. This hardly feels like an FPS and more like a strategy. The graphics are terrible. They look fresh out of 2000. The story gets so boring because in the long run, all you do is flank. Unlike some games where it feels like a war is going on, this game makes you feel like you're playing paintball on a big battlefield and that you can get killed. Down the road nobody cares about the characters if you think about it, because Matt and Joe are just stupid. The controls are frustrating because there are so many buttons. I feel like I am using TV remote or something. Please don't buy this game. The second one was bad (considering that this one was terrible) and somewhat reedemed the series, but how they could make any more is just ridiculous.
