Amazing first game
To me, this was the first game I ever beat and I still play it once and awhile to this day. This game is definitely a well rounded game for any gamer who enjoy's a challenge, good musical score, beautiful scenery, and new surprises around every corner. You start of the game in Times Square defeating green blobs and end up in a lava forge filled with fire, blades, action, action, action and more action. That may sound tough but with you trusty sweeper that can sweep of a wide variety of trash from normal everyday trash cans to 16ton weights and cars, you are able to battle your way through. Plus, this game is definitely a one of a kind, because of the fact that you get to control time! Slow down monsters of use it to your advantage to escape falling debris. This game has it all! It may be a little challenging for gamers under the age of 10 but otherwise take the risk and look into my favorite game of all time Blinx The Time Sweeper.

A game with memorable music but cliched story.
I once went to my friend's house and played this game. I really liked it, so I got it. I do not regret this.
I find this game to look great, especially with the water and fire. The enemies look a little too cartoony, though.
This game also has an AMAZING soundtrack with the first song you hear, the intro theme, being good in itself.
The concept of manipulating time is also good, since it was able to use the XBox hard drive for the record feature.
One thing that I have seen complaints about is that the level of difficulty really goes up at round 4 or 5, and the enemies may sometimes corner you until you have to lose a retry to escape.
The time controls mentioned earlier, are pause, rewind, fast record, fast forward, and slow. They manipulate time to solve puzzles and for combat, such as when a bridge falls down, you use rewind to undo the bridge's collapsing.
The game is about a cat named Blinx, who goes to save a princess, which has gotten a little cliched. He immediately gets a crush for her, and sets out to world B1Q64 (may be speculated as Earth) even though the world was going to be destroyed due to the overpopulation of time monsters.
Overall, this game was originally supposed to get Blinx to be the XBox mascot, and beat Super Mario 64. And in my opinion, Super Mario 64 bows down to this game!

Still Good
Blinx: The Time Sweeper was shwon at E3 in 2002 and everyone thought it would be amazing. When it came out, it didn't meet the high tandards people had for it. That doesn't necessarily mean it's bad. Storyline is that Blinx, a time jainitor, who works a the Time Factory, finds out that some time moster have stolen time and he is sent to go get it back. Yeah, it's a little weird. To deal with these Time Monsters (Which vary from big green blobs, to something that looks a bit like a hot air balloon!), Blinx must use his Time Sweeper. The Time sweeper is his guns that you can use to suck up ammuntion. The ammo ranges from garbage cans, benches, and flowerbeds. You can basically pick up anything you can see, but you may only have 5 items in your inventory. When you encounter a time moster you must launch your ammo at it. Simple as that. If it hits you it's game over, unless you have a retry. Retry is one of the five time controls that you have, you automatically use a retry when you die. It rewinds time to where you're safe. Pretty cool huh? (You earn time controls by picking up the loot that the time mosters drop). The others are Slow-Mo, which slows time down, but you don't. So you can kill a time moster thats rushing at you much more easily. Rewind, which makes everthing else around you go backwards. So if a bridge is collapsed, use a rewind to put it back up. Pause is a better version of Slow-Mo. And finally Record is when you can record your self and then replay with yourself! The music is deffinetlly not for everybody. some find it annoying, but I think it's great. It's spazy and kiddish. The graphics are great (By Xbox standards), there is 35 levels to go through and the controls are good. So, all in all, Blinx is a very good game.
