Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bad I love WWE games but I can't stand this one. WWE 2k15 is better. Graphics, roster, game modes all good but controls and gameplay are terrible. Button presses rarely register, grapples sometimes miss with opponent right in front of you. Even with perfect set up the game rarely allows you to do signatures or finishers. Characters face the wrong way or focus on far away opponents while other opponents are right next to you. Game just doesn't play well at all. Also Lana's face is scary(in game not real life).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great game to play with friends or by yourself WWE 2K16 is a great game for casual or hardcore gamers. Playing online is very enjoyable and the game modes and match types in single player are very fun.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Good Game Dragged Down By Stupid Faults If you played one WWE game you played them all. With the yearly release of WWE games it becomes harder and harder to top the previous years game and that is perfectly understandable. But in my opinion when each game has the same has the same mistakes as the one that came out prior I think there is a problem. The game itself is great you can play it for hours on end. My problem starts with the character graphics, there is only a handful of characters maybe 6 or 7 at best in the game that were designed good the rest look like they were just copied and pasted from the previous game. If i can download someones created character that looks 10 times better then the one in game that's a problem, a minor flaw but still a problem. My second problem with the game is that it seems like each year we get less and less match types to choose from, I mean I'm not asking for every match type to be a playable one in game but when it comes to multiple team tag team matches i think they should be brought back. My third and final problem is the pointless limit to the things we can download each day. I mean there shouldn't be one but if there gonna have one at least make it more then 20 because people with a customized WWE universe rely on downloads to be able to play them out. Other then these three minor problems its a really fun game and if your a fan of the WWe i would def get this game.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Huge disapointment The graphics of course are "decent" i haven't played wwe since the 2013 addition but i had high hopes for my return with 2k16... I expected my career to give the story feel you got with old school wrestling "story mode" but after the first few plays it turns into a more advanced version of "universe" not giving any story just matches and a rival every once and a while. At that point i was bored with the career so i went to the only thing that kept me playing 2013 "online" ... i spent 20 minutes waiting to join a match...the new way of picking online matches are stupid to me but others seem to like it so...... anyway after jumping into all kinds of matches i realized either the online doesn't work... or simply nobody's online....Now if you do happen to get into a match rather its online or just playing alone ... the game play seems more realistic but there's many times where you cant reverse or don't even have the option to....the new submission system is almost impossible to use...i have no idea when i have a special or signature unless i see the option to do it....only good thing about this game is the graphics and the movement ..... once you get over that the game is pretty boring unless you have two controllers and someone to play against but the too will soon get boring...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Customizing is a complete joke. If you're a fan of the older WWE games where you could create a wrestler and moves and entrances get ready for disappointment. The game overall plays well and the graphics look pretty good. The online is slow as always but they have made it better with better search options and categories to look community creations up with. However you're limited to 20 downloads a day for some dumb reason. THE GOOD: Gameplay is still pretty good, the graphics look good, large roster, custom belts/shows/arenas. THE BAD: Custom characters look cartoony at times, online is still slow and sometimes very sluggish, limited to 20 downloads a day. THE UGLY: CAW is no where near as good as it was a few years ago. Creating an entrance is a complete joke now that you can't use custom music from your hard drive, there aren't even any real generic or old WWE wrestler entrance as there were in previous years (EXAMPLE: If you wanted to make a Jeff Hardy entrance you would look for something under the generic title of "Extreme" and you would have your character come out as Hardy would have.) Clothes options seem to have gotten smaller as well, I used the hair dye tool just to mess around with when I first tried to make a character and that option seems to be flawed as well. The bottom line is I do not recommend buying this game, maybe rent it. With the CAW system and custom entrance lacking hugely it overshadows how much better the inner workings of this game have become with an improved rivalry system and control of your own show and in general a better WWE universe experience. Not happy with this game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from BIG UPGRADE WWE 2K16 is a big upgrade from WWE 2k15, game play is very similar but more fluent. New animations, new interruption system to break up people entrance is pretty cool. the roster is nice, but alot of the characters you have to unlock in Showcase and some you don't even fight there just involved in the storyline. The only cons I would say is they could have included the four horsewomen of NXT, and more freedom over the rules of the matches other than that, its a great game

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than expected At first, I thought this was like a copy and paste from last year's game just with a bigger roster. But the more I play it, the more I'm really enjoying it. Haven't played online yet, but will soon. But the overall game is just amazing. This game is a much better improvement from last year's. Playing as Stone Cold throughout his career is awesome! The My Career mode has improved as well. It's not play for a year and you're in the hall of fame, you work your butt off to move up in the rankings for titles, to hold them, and to eventually make it in the hall of fame. The Universe mode seems to be about the same, but that's ok. The one thing I think it lacks is in the creation mode there is no write a story like there was in the past games. It might be on the xbox 360 and ps3, but not on the new gen looks like. I've not been able to put this game down. Thank you 2k for the much needed improvements for this series!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from way better then 2k15!!!!! WWE 2k16 is an amazing WWE experience for anybody who loves wrestling games. the graphics are way better then 2k15, the new "stone cold" showcase mode was really great,as you play as Stone Cold Steve Austin himself through his career in the WWE. My Career mode has been updated, so now you can go into the hall of fame. the thing that I like most about this years WWE game is the ROSTER!!!!!!!!!. it has 120+ superstars, legends, divas and NXT superstars too. not including the season pass which has even more superstars, divas, and legends to offer. overall great new addition to the franchise.
