Product Details:

We live in a complex world. The more advanced it gets, the more vulnerable it becomes. We've created a house of cards. Remove just one and everything falls apart. Black Friday, a devastating pandemic sweeps through New York City and, one by one, basic services fail. In only days, without food or water, society collapses into chaos. The Division, an autonomous unit of tactical agents, is activated. Leading seemingly ordinary lives among us, the agents are trained to operate independently in order to save society.

Test Chamber - We Take Back Madison Square Garden In The Division

by Wade Wojcik

Since The Division was first announced nearly three years ago, Tom Clancy and shooter fans alike have been eagerly awaiting to experience its version of post-apocalyptic New York City.

With the release date approaching, and hype ramping up, Matthew Bertz and I take a look at one of the early missions in the game: infiltrating Madison Square Garden and evicting the armed vagrants within. Check out the action in the vid below!

When society falls, your mission begins.

Take Back New York
Welcome to a new generation experience in a persistent and dynamic environment, where exploration and player-progression are essential. Teaming up with other Division agents, your mission is to restore order, investigate the source of the virus and to Take Back New York.

A Living and Breathing World
Enter a universe where the time of day and weather conditions deeply impact your gaming experience. Use the environment to a strategic advantage to dominate fights and ambush your enemies.

Urban Jungle
New York City is being overrun by hostile groups that are trying to take advantage of the crisis. One such group is The Cleaners, who travel throughout the city wherever the contagion levels rise. Wearing hazmat suits and wielding flamethrowers, the Cleaners leave nothing but ash in their wake.

The Agents of the Division
Trained to act independently from any chain of command, Agents are autonomous and adaptive, working alone or in small groups. They are the last line of defense, activated when all else fails to save what remains.

Gear Up
As a member of The Division, harness state-of-the-art technology. Customize your character and your back-pack, your lifeline in the event of a collapse, and communicate with the other agents at all times with your smart watch. Customize and level up your weapons. The choices you make will help forge a recovery or plunge the city deeper into chaos.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hooked at the beta I been playing this game since day one. Love the game. I play this mostly solo. But sometimes with other players. I got the season pass which I believed payed for its self. The incursion s are hard but fun. Darkzone is a no mans land. Underground is cool . it is a no respawn area.. Then you have survival. Where every player starts on a level playing field. So if you want a nice game come on and join in with saving New York.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Another boring UbiSoft game... This has to be one of the most boring, uninteresting games I have ever come across and played... most people probably already know this, but UbiSoft seems to dish out their games buggy when first released. This game is no exception to the iconic work development that UbiSoft has set up for its self. Combine this with clunky game play, and brain dead AI for an amazing experience of being completely bored with the bland generic protagonist that doesn't speak. Lets not forget the amazing characters in the game with almost no plot development. Seriously... I cant remember any of the characters names because their so uninteresting. I can remember at most two characters, one being the woman early on in the game that you meet, and some oldish white guy with a beard in the tech area of the base. In terms of story, completely boring, almost as if it doesn't exist. The only real reason you would even want to go through the main campaign is to unlock all your perks. At some points the plot kinda had my attention, but over all its really, really, bland and unmemorable... its almost as if its just a lame gritty game in an attempt to hit the Call of Duty market if you know what I'm saying. If you thought the game play would be good think again. Combine the clunky controls with the bugs in this masterpiece to get more frustrating issues in combat than one should have playing this game. For example when attempting to use the riot shield at some moments it wouldn't even activate and work to save my sorry butt, excuse me for the language. Later on in the game this issue stopped, but when I pay for a completed $60 game, it should at least function properly. The AI completely lacks common sense, and is predictable. Every battle will be the same...just duct behind cover and shoot the AI a million times until they kill over. That's the only real difficulty with this game, that the AI takes clips after clips of bullets to kill over, yet you only take two to three hits from a guy with a base ball bat and your dead. I'm really sure the guy with the bat knows he takes way more hits to die than a normal human wearing just a hoodie and hat, or he wouldn't charge a guy with a gun. Why is it that I wear a bullet proof vest, combined with other defensive gear only to die from an AI with a base ball bat....or AI's with shot guns, because those num nuts charge you as well. The farther you get in the game, the longer the AI takes to die is my point. The bosses in the game can be beaten with the same method of killing any other AI, but...they...TAKE EVEN LONGER TO KILL! Not to mention the boss battles are lame and unmemorable as well. Not one boss made me feel sorry for killing them, or made me hate them because there really isn't that much build up for any character for me to project any sort of relationship/emotion that I should feel towards them, or any character in this bland game... also the music is unmemorable to...I cant think of a single moment going through this awful game were music kicked in and I felt a sense of awe, or amazement to the circumstance at hand. With the design of the game...its also bland and unmemorable like any thing else in this game. Walking from mission to mission you will get to look at the same generic environment you have been staring at for hours with minor exceptions to details with other areas like in a subway or building compared to being outside all the time. Also you mean to tell me that almost every forsaken mission in this game is the same thing, over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and over again, the same boring repetitive nonsense with little variety while I've been playing since I started this forsaken game? But hey... at least you have the Dark Zone right? I mean, this is one of the biggest reasons why people decided to buy this game...right? Ha Ha...WRONG! Although this is just my opinion, the dark zone is just as bland as any thing else in this game. I rarely bump into any players, and when I do they're more powerful then me and most likely in a group. So I decide to bring a group of other players with me for assistance, but I soon realized because they weren't considered in the same rank as me in the Dark Zone we couldn't even assist each other even though are main level is just about the same. If they actually balanced out the area instead of making a weird system for it, I might actually be able to invite people to go in and have fun. This wouldn't be a problem if the people I summoned could assist me, but like I said they have to be a certain rank. So technically speaking, if your friends are not the same rank as you, your not getting any help from them even if they are considered a lower level then you. Also, just my opinion, but why does it feel like every time I get players to join a game with me, it feels like every one is doing their own thing by not assisting me in the actual missions that I'm doing...you know...the reason I summoned the players in the first... place... Over all this game is extremely boring, extremely unmemorable, with mediocre game play. If you want to have ANY fun playing this game, bring friends with you, although it should be a crime if you made your friends buy this $60 game...seriously...they could of spent their hard earned cashed on lets say, A BETTER CHEAPER GAME! The biggest crime this game actually commits, is just being so god awfully boring and unmemorable, I cant state that enough. The whole reason any sane human purchases a game is to have fun in some sense of a way while playing it....not much more to say then...yeah...really boring, and I can't recommend this game to any one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth The Money !! I like all of the elements of this game !! it's just all out fun !! I'm not a fan of "A" button to cover And "B" button to vault, because in most games "A" is to jump or climb, and "B" is to go prone or duck. I always get them backwards then get shot down !! I am not a third person shooter fan, but this one, Red Dead Redemption, and The Saboteur are awesome !! I say Buy it and have a BLAST !!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun with lots to do First off, visually the game is perfect, in my opinion. It looks as I was hoping it would upon release. I am only a few hours into the game, but so far I've enjoyed every minute of it. I'm slightly worried that there won't be endless amounts of things to do (e.g Fallout 4), however the Dark Zone should fill that void. Overall I really like the game, it's fun and addicting, what else can you want.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Game Just to be straight to the point, its Destiny re-skinned. That's not a bad thing tho IMO and I actually like it better than Destiny. Pretty much if you have played Destiny then you know what to expect from this game and if you liked Destiny then you'll enjoy this game and if you didn't then you still might enjoy this game just from the re-skin. Overall I give it a 7-8 outta 10
