by 2Phresh Sunset Overdrive Is Full of Fun & Excitement
It looks amazing, the open world is incredible, the controls feel free, and its very easy to learn. The X button basically controls most of the grinds, the swinging, and etc. The 8 player chaos mode is a team based objective game mode. There are tons of customization for your character, its not the average game that comes out every year, or something you have played before, and that's what makes it unique. I give it an 8.5/10, for the fact that there is no free mode with other players, just game modes, but hopefully they will add it in the future.

Rated 10 out of 10 by SONNYCORLEONE93 what a great,crazy game.
Sunset Overdrive is an excellent exclusive to the xbox one. this game is just an awesome, crazy experience for me. you can literally do any thing in this game, like missions, side quests, leap off of buildings, jump off of fans in the air, grind electric wires, and of course, kill the enemy: the "OD', short for OVERDRIVE, which are mutants. overall great exclusive!!!.
Rated 8 out of 10 by xCheshireCatx Good overall Game
To me this game was not phenomenal in my opinion but definitely a good pickup. It is $30 right now which is a great price for a game like this. There is a lot to do within the game there are tons of combinations of customization. I also enjoyed the subtle humor in some things.

Sunset Overdrive is fun, serious and addicting. I mean honestly, the amount of game play is crazy. I mean I lost five days or so of my week just playing this game. I mean mind you it was more like two days and a half without breaks and chores in the way. But still all and all great reason to pick up a Xbox One.

This game is an odly different game then any other game out on xbox one. It's a decent game but, didn't have that x factor that made you want to play it. I owned it for three months and only played it four times so, you might say I haven't played it enough to have an opinion but, in short it's not the game it's made out to be.

Sunset Overdrive is an awesome game. Loads of fun and pretty fast pace gameplay makes this a must play for Xbox One owners. Also has some replay value after you beat once. The only problems I had with the game was the constantly repeating music. They should have more than 4 songs repeating while you jump from roof top to roof top in the amazingly colorful Sunset City. One other problem I had with the game is its 4th wall breaking jokes. Don't get me wrong they were funny at specific times, but its hard to really get into a game that constantly reminds you that its a game. After all of this I would still recommend this to a friend and even other Xbxo One owners.
Rated 10 out of 10 by flipperrapper One of the best games ever and a huge exclusive.
If its anything that would keep a ps4 fan up at night it should verry well be the fact that sunset overdrive is an xbox one exclusive. Honestly it is quite possibly the best next gen game ive payed thus far, everything was done well and executed perfectly and it is a breathe of fresh air. Something new.It is a undeniable masterpiece and a much better game then some of the competitotrs.
Rated 6 out of 10 by Sandman8557 Too Difficult but great gameplay
The game is outstanding in a first glance. Crazy guns, crazy characters, and outstanding gameplay mechanics. However, the difficulty is through the roof. You'll often times be using weapons such as the "High Fidelity" and pumping 20-30, sometimes 40 rounds of ammunition into enemies and dying several times before finding a way to successfully complete the mission. Other times, you'll be faced with bullet sponge enemies such as Fizzco Robots, and weapons that have almost no ammunition to come with them. The creators of the game probably thought that the game would be too easy if they gave too much ammunition, but too little is more of a sacrifice to playability. I would only recommend this game to a hardcore gamers who are looking for a challenge. This game is NOT for the easily frustrated or just the casual call of duty type FPS gamer. The 3rd person aspect also hints at the difficulty of the game. It's not along the lines of a 3rd person aspect such as sleeping dogs, grand theft auto or tomb raider, the games 3rd person camera angles get extremely sloppy to somebody who has never played games such as "Ratchet & Clank" or Tony Hawk. Beware of this game, until you've seen videos or reviews and really know what you're in for.
Rated 9 out of 10 by TheFruitlooop Game that almost doesn't take itself seriously.
Sunset Overdrive has a wonderful concept, beautiful graphics, and that special something. While following through the main missions, there were so many "easter eggs" and some many quirky lines. It made me laugh so hard. When you would die, they give you a respawn that is right where you were so you can jump right back into action. Here are the ups: funny, great weapons, character customization, good cast of characters, flowing movement, and many easter eggs. The downs: the co-op was a miss, it takes some getting used and lots of memorization of the buttons. Otherwise a great game and I look forward to what else they have instore.
