Rated 3 out of 5 by from Step It Up !! This game is not that great, but I do play it, only because it's all I have .. It came with EA Access ..

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Amazed How Bad this Game is! Well, this game is just bad. Cant get around that. The random interference calls, knocking the goalies out of the way and scoring goals, Its like they are playing on Beer League hockey speed besides the shots. Controls are really sluggish.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not much of an upgrade from 14 The only new and improved thing is the presentation. The goalie interference is really bad in this game and while playing online it gets really annoying when your players reach and attempt to handle a pass but instead it bounces until another player can grab it usually the other team or after about the third attempt you will eventually be able to handle it. Also the ice tilt is terrible in this game I can dominate a team in every way and lose by defending really well and giving a shot from the blue line and it'll go in and all of a sudden my defense is so far out of position and don't block cross crease passes anymore. It goes both ways though I have games where it's scoreless and I get one goal and two more easily right after.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the best from EA I have played every NHL titles since 2003. I put countless hours into these games averaging 10-12 days of playing time per game. My cousins and I would play the games for several hours at a time. For every NHL title, I knew the game inside and out and also knew the games down to technical levels. SHORT VERSION - Pros- fluid, more realistic mechanics Cons- THERE IS NO CLUB, the “game eveners” are ridiculous LONG VERSION GAMEPLAY/MECHANICS-5/10-The game has a very fluid skating mechanics, however, the rest of the game mechanics are just terribly build. I often feel like the game picks sides on who they want to win. I will play games where the person I'm playing against just will not lose the puck and score from the simplest of shots. At the same time I will lose the puck without their stick even near me, and when I do make a nice play their goalie stops even the most extreme shots. GRAPHICS-7/10-The graphics are phenomenal the only small detail that keeps it from a full 10/10 is the occasional glitch in the game that it loops the face off and the game disconnects due to it. When I try to load Online Team Play (OTP), almost every game will glitch out and the play will just stop and go back to the face off (about 1 out of 10 times the game will repeatedly do this till it crashes). SOUND-7/10- The sound quality is very good, however, EA Sports changed the announcers to the NBC announcers who are even more annoying. Also, every couple fights or so the game will cut out the sound of the crowd making the game feel like it just stopped completely. SIMILARITIES TO PREVIOUS TITLES-4/10- The game is very different from ’14. The goalies are more independent that ever before making it incredibly easy to score unrealistic goals so the people who are not good at the game can beat pros. I have played people who will take simply snap shots from the blue line and score top shelf, meanwhile, I get stuffed on a cross crease on a 2 on 0 DIFFERENCES TO PREVIOUS TITLES-1/10- NHL 15’s biggest difference to the previous titles is the lack of EASHL, or “club”. EA sports most prized game mode for NHL titles is not in this game. The lack of club makes playing with your friends so much harder. The only way to play with your friends, instead of against, is to try and find the same game of OTP and if you have more than 3 people you usually cannot find a game. MY OVERALL OPINION-3/10-The only reason I purchased this game is because I have 3 roommates that I play with in my dorm room. The game is just poorly built only having some of the game modes. NHL 15 is just an even more frustration version of NHL 14. RECCOMENDATION- If you want this game just to have an updated NHL title to play then this game is for you. If you buy NHL games to play club with your friends or for the enjoyment of beating people continuously online then do not buy this game.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Does not compare to Past NHL's. Removed too much! Compared to past NHLs this is very disappointing. There are so many game modes removed. My favorite game mode has always been Be a GM, but after a while i like to try other game modes. My only other options in 15 are ultimate team, and be a pro. After buying this game, i went back to playing NHL 14 on my PS3 instead of NHL 15 on my Xbox one. Game should not be $60. Also since we had to wait an extra year for the next gen game compared to most other sports games i expected this to be a great game. Instead its a disappointment. Would not recommend to a friend.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No Couch Co-op This game was an epic disappointment when we found out there was no online guest play. Online Versus is locked down to 1v1. I know a majority of gamers solely play with their friends against other people online (typically 2v2). This game is dead to me and will not recommend it to any other friends until this issue is fixed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun for young & old hockey fans/players My 11 year old grandson has been playing hockey since he was 3. He loves this NHL 15 and is very good at it. An adult friend who is also a big Hurricanes fan plays this game with my grandson and they both have fun. Great game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Game But Lacking NHL 15 is a step up from NHL 14 the Commentary is ok but change was needed in commentary. game is good but also bad presentation and graphics are great NHL 15 is missing game modes (EASHL GM Connected season mode etc I Would Recommend this game to a person who likes hockey be a pro online versus and be a Gm mode
