Im going to be up front here, I have so far only played the 6-hour trial that comes with my subscription to EA Access. But those 6 hours absolutely flew by. I started up a Dynasty with the Timberwolves and found myself actually wanting to play the games instead of simming them like I would in NBA 2k. I have not touched the Rising Star mode yet, as I doubt it will hold a candle to 2k's MyPlayer mode just yet, but judging by the enormous jump in quality between NBA Live 14 and 15, I feel that I may find myself purchasing EA basketball games instead of 2k, especially if 2k plans to integrate VC into ever facet of the game year in and year out. Overall, this game is fun. It's hard at first if you are used to 2k controls. but once you get the hang of it, you'll see the potential this game series has.

This game is awful. Way too hard. They need to make difficulty modifiers like they have in fifa 14. Seriously they should not be making three pointers on rookie like they are.
Rated 7 out of 10 by Dmoneyrich Closing the gap
After playing this game I must say EA has closed the gap on 2k. I definitely think 2k is still the better basketball sim but NBA live made some major improvement in this years installment.
Graphics- The up close visuals are fantastic, player faces are creepily accurate and shoulders look great too. best close ups ive seen in a basketball game
Gameplay- Although the gameplay has improved drastically from Live 14, its still far from perfect.
Pros- play inside the key area is more contested and looks more fluid. player shooting forms are spot on. Passing is more sounds. Feel more in control on defense
Cons- Players tend not to move around unless you call plays or screens. Fast breaks don't run smoothly. Passes seem slow if that makes sense.
Sounds- By far the best aspect of the game. Crowd sounds just like an NBA game and I even notice they cheer louder after big plays for example when you make an "and 1" the crowd goes crazy. And the playoff atmosphere is fantastic...The commentary in this game is improved from last year but still dry.
Final Verdict- NBA Live 15 is a very enjoyable game. Don't expect too much in changes from game modes as it seems they but all their focus in gameplay and graphic improvements

The overall game play is great. Total control of baller on the court pretty much. BEWARE, you cannot customize face and skin color. Almost offensive because all the dark skinned ballers look like apes and have yellow eyes. On Rising Star, once your baller subs in there are no more substitutions what so ever. A 6 ft. guard and block a 6'11 forwards shot going toe to toe. I think they were trying so hard to update rosters with real life, that they left off making the game personal. (If that makes any sense.) Also, stealing the ball while in the passing lane tends to be difficult, as the delay from hitting the button more than 7 sec. slow.

This game lacks the smooth gameplay like their competition. I have been a sports gamer since the early 90s. the graphics are amazing and the cut scences are very good also. but the game play was less than expected. My recommendation is to put more into game play and less into making it looks to pretty. you have a ways to go before you catch up with your conpetition as far as game play is concern...
Rated 10 out of 10 by McPeek13 Better than 2K!
Was weary heading into this game but it is by far better than 2K, The shooting and player faces is better than 2K, Also the courts look better than 2k15. Got the game for free with EA Access and i will be buying the game next year!

Rated 1 out of 10 by Sportsfreak88 this game sucks
I don't recommend this game to no one cause you cant shoot very well in your Dynasty Mode or In your career mode and by the time your up by 10 points it will shrink because the game totally sucks I haven't had this game for 72 hours and usually I like NBA Games but I will not get NBA live games no more
Rated 9 out of 10 by nonn great game
Its a great game. One thing i didn't like is that people hoe are like 6'3 look like they're 6'9. Another thing was that the graphics couldn't of looked better than nba live 14. But every other component in the game is great

Great graphics and fun rising star challenge with wearing any pair of jordans you want to wear . And putting on any accessories you want to wear offline if you don't have internet. Unlike nba 2k15 you have to buy the accessories and on nba live 15 its free with any jordans shoes. Also the dribbling is better than 2k15 and your player get drafted depending on his performance in the rising star challenge. To me this game is better than 2k15 thanks to the rising star challenge.
