Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's getting there NBA Live's fall from grace was a stain on the sports video game market. NBA 2K has dominated for years. Madden has continued to underwhelm. WWE and UFC literally got back into the ring/octagon. NBA Live's return to the sports sim world got off to a bumpy start with last year's edition, their first in FOUR YEARS. This game shows signs of life. I'll be the first to admit, I was never high on 2000s Live. Even when 2K was a caterpillar, 2K got the nod because Live was simply underwhelming. From lackluster commentary to a net that never moves to average graphics, the bonuses and mini games were the only saving graces to Live games. When the series went under, 2K started doing everything Live should have been doing 10 years ago. But with this game, they start to show promise. The net actually moves. Wow, it's amazing what modern technology can do after all. While the commentary remains at an all time low (see my band reference?), the graphics are starting to come along. EA's decision to revive the series solely on eighth generation platforms might have cause the early underwhelming, but it has the potential to be a long term game changer. 2K is still releasing games on the 360 and PS3, but even those versions on outdated systems are STILL outperforming their contemporaries. But, as mentioned several times already, Live is slowly but surely putting it all together. Outside of the core gameplay, the game's other features remain a staple, but the core gameplay itself is always what held this series back. The smoother tone and finish on the gameplay, solid sound and even above average graphics make NBA Live 15 a potential turning point in this neglected series.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY THIS GAME This game is awful. Way too hard. They need to make difficulty modifiers like they have in fifa 14. Seriously they should not be making three pointers on rookie like they are.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A big step up Im going to be up front here, I have so far only played the 6-hour trial that comes with my subscription to EA Access. But those 6 hours absolutely flew by. I started up a Dynasty with the Timberwolves and found myself actually wanting to play the games instead of simming them like I would in NBA 2k. I have not touched the Rising Star mode yet, as I doubt it will hold a candle to 2k's MyPlayer mode just yet, but judging by the enormous jump in quality between NBA Live 14 and 15, I feel that I may find myself purchasing EA basketball games instead of 2k, especially if 2k plans to integrate VC into ever facet of the game year in and year out. Overall, this game is fun. It's hard at first if you are used to 2k controls. but once you get the hang of it, you'll see the potential this game series has.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Choppy Game Play This game lacks the smooth gameplay like their competition. I have been a sports gamer since the early 90s. the graphics are amazing and the cut scences are very good also. but the game play was less than expected. My recommendation is to put more into game play and less into making it looks to pretty. you have a ways to go before you catch up with your conpetition as far as game play is concern...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from this game sucks I don't recommend this game to no one cause you cant shoot very well in your Dynasty Mode or In your career mode and by the time your up by 10 points it will shrink because the game totally sucks I haven't had this game for 72 hours and usually I like NBA Games but I will not get NBA live games no more

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Childish The overall game play is great. Total control of baller on the court pretty much. BEWARE, you cannot customize face and skin color. Almost offensive because all the dark skinned ballers look like apes and have yellow eyes. On Rising Star, once your baller subs in there are no more substitutions what so ever. A 6 ft. guard and block a 6'11 forwards shot going toe to toe. I think they were trying so hard to update rosters with real life, that they left off making the game personal. (If that makes any sense.) Also, stealing the ball while in the passing lane tends to be difficult, as the delay from hitting the button more than 7 sec. slow.
