Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fantastic potential, poorly executed. I really wanted to like it, really I did, but it quickly became aggravating due to poor controls, poor voice acting and extremely linear game play. It's a relatively good looking game and I think the premise was great but the dialogue was very difficult to hear at times (yes I tried tweaking the volume controls) and it's repetitive and predictable . Perhaps I'm just spoiled/or used to open world games but to step into a game where there is basically a single pathway through any and all terrain coupled with the same "surprises" in each level (Wow I've fallen off yet another boat/train/random mode of transport and have to mash "x" to recover and Wow, I've shot that creature 10 times in the head but it's now in my face and I have to mash "x" to escape) made it very predictable and downright not fun to play which is a shame. The first surprise (at the very start of the game) was fantastic and had me really expecting big things from Metro: Last Light, unfortunately for this player it failed to deliver.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ridiculously Overrated The story was pretty boring, the controls were sluggish, it was so linear I felt I was getting claustrophobia being confined. There is nothing about this game that some other game doesn't do better. Save your money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from an amazing survival- horror game. I have never played any of the metro games, until I did some research on the Redux versions of Metro:2033 and Metro:last light, which are remastered and rebuilt for Xbox one and PS4. I have to say that these games are outstanding. I like the way you can use a gas mask for certain places that have hazardous waste in the air. its very realistic in every way possible. overall really great game.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Severely disappointed While looking for something to give me a break from Destiny I decided to give this game a try. I have never played any of the Metro games before but have generally heard positive things. Now I'm wondering why. The story was only so-so. The voice acting was terrible. And the graphics were a huge disappointment for a game "redone" for Xbox One. I played this game for one evening and took it back to Gamestop the next day. Save your money and buy something else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Beautiful... But So Dirty Metro Redux was a perfect game to showcase the beauty of the world Dmitry Glukhovsky wrote about. There are some realistic guns and other guns made just for the game all have its own distinct feel. The characters have their own souls and are written so well. The currency in game is military grade bullets. Which you can use as real ammo the does bonus damage or you can buy metro bullets that does basic damage. When ever you have to come up to the surface you have to put on a gas mask so you don't die. Keep a look out for gas mask filters if you run on the end missions it really sucks. This is two games in one is so worth the buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from epic survival let me start off saying these games are realy immersive especialy on the harder difficulties i own these for the 360 as well and if you liked them on the 360 then your gona love it on xbone its not a new game and its not an old game remake either its a mix of the 2 they took metro 2033 and made it more like last light you can now customize your weapons like in last light they even added some of the weapons in last light to this one a feature that i loved in metro last light that metro 2033 needed they basicly improved a great single player game into an epic title that feels new with all of the good old and even better new they added new features as well like how just about every item has something glowing on it so its easier to find the controles were also improved the 360 version felt like you were turning a rock even with the sensitiviy cranked all the way up not a problem now metro 2033 redux was made to be like metro last light. sounds are even better then the 360 port. graphics are amazing. controls are fantastice feels believable no matter what game mode your playing on. the story is long mixture of stealth and action realy imersive and beleivable. a great game made epic if you like metro last light and you wanted the features that was in last light in metro 2033 get this redux version it has all the good stuff from last light. they fixed alot of bugs too from the 360 version as well. still have some bugs but nothing game breaking to take away from the experiance metro last light in my opinion was my favorite on the 360 becuase of all the content and new features that i wanted out of metro 2033 like weapon customization better lighting more content and better controls and my wish was granted in metro last light and i couldnt think it could have gotin much better then the redux version came out on the xbone it it went from one of the best games to an epic game its been improved alot it has all of the dlc content from the 360 plus new features and modes everythings amazing in this redux version if you liked them on the 360 and you have an xbone picks this up it has all of the dlc both games and new features major improvments alot of bug fixes it just a great value for the money if you like fps survival post apocaliptic single player games or just loved the metro series pick this up its epic!!!
