Rated 10 out of 10 by Waltle The Lego Movie Review
This is going to be a completely honest review, I have 100% the game so I have experienced it all. To start, I am not a big LEGO gs fan, but I have played many games in the series. The Lego Movie Videogame is an exception. This game is truly Amazing! Now it contains some of the same lego game style, but adds onto it with new ways to build. It's whole style includes new ways to experience the movie in a video game way. And it includes some of the funniest cut scenes from the movie! It has an enormous character selection. It's fun having Superman fly around with Unikitty raging. The graphics on the Xbox One in particular are amazing. I have this game both for Xbox One and Wii U and the Xbox One is far superior. The sound is Amazing! With some cool hip hop and some western and more, the soundtrack it amazing. I honestly think the Xbox One version is the best. One thing that all LEGO games lack is online multiplayer, which would have been great, but I wasn't expecting it. All in all the Lego Movie Vodeogame is great for all ages, and I have experienced NO problems on the Xbox One, so I strongly suggest it for that console.
Rated 2 out of 10 by Synthizen TERRIBLE on XBOX One
So, I'm a huge fan of Lego games. And, I'm always someone who reads the reviews for video games before shelling out 60 bucks. But, this time, since basically EVERY TT developed Lego game has been fantastic, AND the movie reviews are so good, I thought "Of course the video game is going to be awesome too, right?". WRONG. I do not recommend this title on the XBOX One. The graphics look horribly outdated (especially compared to Lego Marvel - which had fantastic graphics and an open world approach) and the gameplay seems like it was designed for very, very young children ... like, kindergarteners. Some of the "puzzles" actually involve you selecting the same piece that's shown as an outline on the screen. I will admit we didn't see the movie before playing the game, which might be why the gameplay seems so terrible compared to other Lego titles -- maybe its satire? But, that still doesn't explain why the graphics look so horrible, especially the first cut scene, which looks like it had the graphics quality of the first XBOX, not even XBOX 360, let alone XBOX One. Strangely, there aren't any reviews online in the usual places for the game, making me think that they didn't put a whole lot of marketing or PR into it to pump the launch, which might have been on purpose because of the low quality. Strongly recommend you save your 60 dollars, at least until other reviews come out.
Rated 1 out of 10 by arianagrande This game is really stupid.
This game is really stupid. For example, the game is NO FUN AT ALL. Another example, is the graphics are horrible everything is blurry. Also, IT IS NOT GOING TO LAST FOR LONG. I bought the game and the next day it kept getting stuck and it erased my history for all my scores and records. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rated 7 out of 10 by neocat10 Ok I guess
It is to as good as the amazing lego marvel but its decent since its a lego game. I would recommend this mostly to kids 5-8 because it is more a kids game. It was not as good as the movie and was boring at times but i enjoyed. I just wish I didn't waist 60 bucks on this. If u are planning on getting it wait till it goes down to 40 bucks.
Rated 10 out of 10 by SGGamer Hilarious in both ways
This game made me laugh a ton even after the movie with the great cast and lines. I love all of the cross overs and cutscenes as well as the unique story and message. Its great as a starting or your first lego game well done Travelers Tales.
