LEGO Marvel Super Heroes
Wealth of Content
I bought this game on day one and the kids & I haven't stopped playing it since. It's everything you'd expect from a Lego game (you're usually either breaking something or building something), but with a ton of Marvel characters and some pretty creative intersections between their powers and how those are translated/used on the controller. Even my 6-year old, who's played every other Lego game, just picked this up and ran with it. He felt like Thor, Cyclops, etc. in no time at all and had a blast. It must be good because my 10-year old daughter, who could care less about superheroes, won't stop playing it either and now knows who her favorite Marvel characters are (at least in the Lego universe). In short, we've been playing this for well over 6 weeks solid now, hit 100% completion weeks ago, and are still firing it up just to mess around. Absolutely worth the money.
Why no exclusives for one version
So why is it that the xbox 360 gets the spiderman figure and extra dlc but the one version doesn't? Since this is not one of the buy for 360, upgrade to one version for $10 titles The content should be available for this version.
I was surprised at how good this game was. Not like the other Lego wastes of money. There are a few problem areas, but a websearch will have you figure it out.
Brings me back to my childhood
Tt games has a gold mine with Legos. Just the amount of stuff to do in this game is insane. 150+ playable characters. With mission specific levels and and a giant sandbox New York with small side missions like finding a old lady's cat or racing Blade on his motorcycle. The are many sights to see like the X mansion, Fantastic Four Tower or Stark Tower the 30 or so vehicles that are fun like Punishers Van, Starks Motercycle or car. Put your kid in front of the tv and he will be sucked in the game for hours always finding something to do. Must have game.
If only "Ultimate Alliance" had been like this
If you liked previous Lego games, Get it. It has everything amazing about what a Lego game is: building and smashing and exploring and puzzle-solving. It goes on for hours upon hours, and if that's not enough, levels can be replayed with different characters, sometimes allowing a completely different take on the level (Important note: some levels require specific powers to complete). If you are a fan of Marvel comic books, movies, animated shows, etc, Get this game. The writing is brilliant, voice acting superb, and the roster of *playable* characters seems to go on for miles (even so far as different Iron Man suits!).
Best lego game I have ever played
If you like lego games, you will LOVE this one. It has a pretty good story. And the characters are awesome! There are so many abilities for each character, and each one is unique. This is a 60 dollar game right here!
My favorite game but rarely slow or laggy graphics
This game has great graphics and is great for anyone from old marvel fans to newcomers. This game has a wide variety of amazing characters and some are just plain goofy but still fun to play with. I highly recommend this game.
