Product Details:

Homefront: The Revolution is the follow up to the commercially successful Homefront, and drops you into a world where the United States has been occupied for four years. Immerse yourself in highstakes gameplay where you must lead the resistance movement in tactical guerrilla warfare against a superior North Korean military force. A living, breathing, and visually striking open world responds to your actions - you and your resistance cell can inspire a rebellion on the streets and be the force that makes the critical difference in the war, turning occupation into revolution as oppressed civilians take up the fight.

But your enemy has the advantage - superior technology, firepower, heavy armor and air support. You must learn the art of guerrilla warfare - ambush, sabotage, infiltration, deception - and fight a running battle through the war-ravaged suburbs of an occupied Philadelphia. And the single player campaign is just the start - an incredibleCo-Op feature lets you and your friends form your own resistance cell and become renowned as Heroes of the Revolution.

  • Explore a living, breathing open world - experience true open world gameplay in a first person shooter, brought to life with dynamic weather and day and night cycles enabled by astonishing CRYENGINE-powered visuals
  • Wage Guerrilla Warfare - this is no linear shooter; learn the art of guerrilla warfare and use ambush, infiltration and hit and run tactics against your foe in thrilling un-scripted firefights
  • Build the Resistance - recruit revolutionaries to the cause, establish bases and safehouses, capture and customize a deadly arsenal, and build improvised, homebrew weapons for your Guerrilla Tool Kit
  • Ignite the Revolution - from oppressed citizen to revolutionary leader, an epic single-player campaign tells the story of the second War of Independence. The dynamic, evolving world responds to your actions as an oppressed nation rises up in defiance against the occupation
  • Online Co-OP - take the battle online, form a Resistance Cell with your friends and earn your reputation as Heroes of the Revolution

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great disappointment The first twenty minutes are interesting with the dark setting and feeling of hopelessness that sets in. However, as son as you get a weapon in your hands, things really begin to fall apart. There are way too many glitches and the shooting is not even that accurate. I lost interest within an hour and promptly returned my pre-owned copy the next day. Don't waste time or money. Should have been cancelled before release!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A true disappointment..... This game looked ready to take down Call of Duty and Battlefield, but then i actually played this game and i was instantly let down. The story was cool and it had a lot of cool features, but it was all brought down by bad frame rate, glitchy textures, and bad weapon handling. It's not a bad game, but definitely not what was expected. A rental at best.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from worse the the 1st one;very glitchy. I preordered this game and when it was released, picked it up and from the start the entire game was full of glitches and constantly froze on all loading scenes and cut scenes. I had to trade in it because it was after 7 days of pickup/purchase, otherwise I would have gotten a full refund without a doubt. overall ridiculous waste of money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dont Believe Critics All The Times.. This game is amazing. at least on consoles anyway. Ive heard about the frame rate drops on pc but this is stellar on consoles. i love dystopian games with a good backstory. With all the political scare of Kim Jong Un this game is perfectly timed for release. the graphics are stellar and the A.Is are decent but could be smarter for a highly trained miltary group. Mechanics are alittle hard to adjust too but once you do it makes the game 10 times easier. moneys easy to aquire and fun to spend. I RECOMMEND IT FOR ANY AND ALL GAMERS. DONT BELIEVE THE CRUDDY CRITICS AND THEIR PRE RELEASE BIASED REVIEWS

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Had A Bumpy Start But It's Good I bought this game when it first came out, that part was a mistake because you not only pay their starting retail price, but in this situation the game had a lot of game-breaking glitches. Scenery that was placed in the middle of a road blocking your NPC's from being able to proceed, etc. -- But it seems like those glitches were finally patched and I just finished the game today. I like the open world layout, the graphics aren't bad, the gameplay isn't bad, had they just done some beta testing before releasing it to the public the game would have been much better received than the attitude towards it right now. ----------SPOILER ALERT--------------The biggest part of the storyline that I thought was just horrible was at the end when Parish gets shot, so Dana decides to blow her self up because she can't live without Parish....but then Parish gets right back up as if he wasn't shot at all and Dana is still gone. What in the world kind of logic was behind this? Dana was the best character in the entire game, and they killed her off. Shooting themselves in the foot for any potential sequels that Dana would have been excellent in, like factions of rebellions each with their own leaders and teams. But whatever, maybe they knew the game would be opposed and never counted on a sequel, who knows.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from very bad gameplay I was really excited to play this game when it came out... but the gameplay is horrible. I was stuck in a mission where you have to take over a base and the NPC's kept on respawning non stop killing me and making me fail the mission.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This game came out broken I tried to give Homefront the revolution a chance since the story and open world seemed unique, but the game is broken. The game freezes for 5 seconds for every auto save, the shooting feels inaccurate I can make a headshot to save my life, the frame rate is very choppy, and the online is terrible.
