Homefront: The Revolution
Was hoping this was going to get made.
I loved Homefront for the 360. The story was amazing, although a bit far fetched. Online play was better than Call of Duty, Tanks, Helicopters, unmanned drones (flying and driving). It was a overlooked title that was very innovative. Gone were kill streaks to get rewards, they went with a battle points system that worked very well. Kills, assists, and even streaked deaths would net you points to buy items from your kit or vehicles. Remember getting killed before you got the streak you wanted? no problem in this game save your points and buy a helicopter. I will definitely be buying this game. Glad this game got picked up after THQ went out of business.
Move aside COD
This game looks like it will take the cake in 2015. With just watching the trailer you should be planning on Pre-Ordering Homefront the Revolution. It is a major improvement from the first Homefront. The first one a lot of people were complaining about the multilayer which was not that good but the campaign was fantastic. I'm looking forward for the campaign and the multilayer to be good, especially if the campaign is open world. COD move out the way because you have a contender.
I heard it's been cancelled. That a lot of the dev team wasn't getting paid so they left. Hope it's still coming and is still as awesome as it seemed, but seems unlikely now.
This game is going to be Epic..!
The first game reminded me of RedDawn, which by the way was a really good movie about russians invading middle america.. this game takes place in the future we are no longer a super power and korea is invading the U.S. which is also like the remake of RedDawn.. so
HOW MANY GAMES DO YOU KNOW, THAT WILL LET YOU BE THE 99%, RAGE WAR AGAINST THE MACHINE, FIGHT THE NEW WORLD ORDER, START A REVOLUTION AND TAKE BACK YOUR RIGHTS...!.!.!
Looks Really Promising!!
I'll start off by saying I played the first HomeFront post THQ bankruptcy so I didn't get to play the multiplayer part of the game. I just have a few concerns about this game. Reading from the description, I didn't see anything about multiplayer only Co-Op. Maybe its just too early yet, but if it didn't this might be a selling point for some people. Also Im not sure if it's a FPS or RPG game. From the description I can't really tell if its like Borderlands or Wolfenstein (2009). The one thing I really like is that you have two really good developers working on it Crytek and Deep Silver. While if it is a shooter you have the Crysis developer Crytek and if its a RPG you have the Dead Island developer Deep Silver. I really cannot wait to see more of this game and also some gameplay. Hopefully we will get another glimpse at the game at E3!!
Loved the first home front campaign!! I am just hoping the multiplayer can hold up better this time around.
Over 1 year to go.........
All these games being developed and taking forever to make, just gives me no hope in them ever being completed. This will be another title to get canceled since its release date is 12/31/15. I'm losing hope in this gen.
Home front has always felt like a downgrade from COD. If you are use to BF or COD it is hard to get in this game. Home front is a game to play when there is nothing else out their, but by the end of 2015 Halo 5 will be out, and maybe Gears 4. People will forget about this game once the best two games made on xbox comes out. Not even COD can handle the Gears and Halo hype. E3 will tell us more about this game but it feels kind of cheezy to me so far.
Rate a Cut Scene?
You can't rate a cut scene other than saying it looked cool. With that, I own the original and I was torn about it. Parts of it were great and parts of it were lacking. It got lost somewhere trying to be a new series with old school game architecture. I'm hoping this sequel does more justice on that. I'll buy it, but I can't give a rating on anything about just a simple game cut scene.
Red Faction: Guerrilla on Steroids?
From the description of this game, it almost seems like a far superior version of Red Faction: Guerrilla, which was one of my favorite 360 games of all time. However, the original Homefront also front lines that list, with an amazing story mode and killer multiplayer. I have high hopes for this, especially with two of the top tier producers working on this, Crytek (Crysis, Ryse) and Deep Silver (Dead Island, Metro).
