This was the first game I bought after I got my Xbox One. I had gotten the $350 Xbox One that came with the Halo games, but I wanted to buy this game and play it more than Halo since it was the most anticipated of 2014 and I've only heard (and seen) great things about it. Needless to say, as soon as I got this, I forgot I owned four Halo games. I did play some of the multiplayer, which was fun as long as I was playing with a friend. Getting onto a server was tough for me due to poor internet and long loading screens. Loading isn't bad if you're going to play single-player, but be prepared to wait a bit going into multiplayer. Not exactly an Xbox One issue, just a GTA V issue (so it happens with all platforms). Despite the long loading screens, gameplay is amazing. Playing in 3rd person is my forte with console games if given the choice, and it just feels so nice to be in the action with this game. Story was great, the open-world is interesting, the AI is questionable... This game is a must-have for mature gamers, especially if you just picked up a console!

Head and shoulders one of the best games I have ever played. The limitlessness and sheer size and scope and depth of this game is just awe inspiring. It is by far graphically among the most elite next gen titles, it improves on the previous gen title in every way and is simply top ten video games of all time. For this to have an 8.1 on here is nothing short of ignorance and it makes me question societies standards. Pretty petty actually. Any true knowledgable gamer will tell you that this is a game of the decade contender.

I got caught up in the hype and bought this for XBone even though I 100%'d the game on X360. I've seen it on PS4 and the graphics are a giant upgrade there, but have seen it play on XBone and have found that it's not graphically as good as the PS4 version. I haven't opened it, and think I'll be returning it, as IMO, it doesn't justify paying another $60 for a game I've beaten already. The online for XBone is a mess right now and isn't working as it should. With the amount of new releases in Oct-Dec there are too many other new games out that I'd rather play. I don't consider this a new game, as there just isn't that much more to do in story mode to justify keeping this game. There are still no online heists and no significant new story mode content to justify playing this again. Hopefully they will add something like the Lost and Damned or Ballad of Gay Tony in the future to give me a reason to play this again, but in the mean time there is nothing that makes this a must play again game.

This is the same game they've been making since GTA 3. It's the same old game with better graphics and no reason to keep buying it.

GTA 5 is a rewarding experience in your beginning hours, exploring its massive world with a surplus of things to do and explore. Whether you play its campaign with good-scripted missions or its online mode where you build a sum of cash and flee from cops with your friends, you will be stuck on earning cash and buying more and better things. Buying all the cars and guns are some examples. Yet, with the endless amount of fun the world offers, you can't help but run out of things to do. And it begins to become work, not fun. Its slow rewards system and lack of a easy way to earn achievments turns you off, and away from the screen. Infact, GTA 5 hits its highpoints while playing with friends, running around jokelessly killing at random and playing with glitches, simply joking around. But then, when you come back into singleplayer you feel lonely and discouraged. But, in the end, everything to do and it's early dawn of fun and encouraging to gather with friends overrides almost all trashtalk about the game. It is almost perfect, almost.

If you want a game that gives you a gift then takes it away. its right here. Every holiday they give you cool cloths masks and cars. witch you spend 4 days earning money on missions to buy these items. then when you buy them. rockstar takes it all away after the holiday is over and doesn't give your money back. waste my time. they say graphics are better. duh its expected. 30 people in one lobby, cool, how about you fix the lagy problems to where 10 people lag out every 2 mins. and on Xbox one its about friends gaming and TV. if you snap a app or go to your friends list for more then a min, it kicks you from online play. woooooohoooooo. all my friends have same issues. my friends friends have theses issues and much more. I played 48 days worth before switching to the Xbox one. now, none of us play it. we don't like to be controlled, and we like to stay connected. we have played it 27 hours since switching 4 months ago. we used to play that in 3 days.

PLayed it on day one on xbox 360 2 years ago and got it again this summer on the xbox one. The Experience is Perfect Crisp and CLassic. Nevertheless I enjoy it every time even online with friends. 10/10 Rockstar Games are the best at what they do and how they amuse us. Add me on xbox live. HustleFlash

This game is beast, everything about it is awesome, the storyline, gameplay, online, graphics, and of course the fact that you can now switch between 3rd person and 1st person is amazing! My overall rating for this game is a perfect 10/10.

If you've ever played a GTA game in the past, or even a Rockstar game for that matter. You'd know about there always satisfying quality gameplay. I've always thought they lacked a little when it comes to graphics. But considering that GTA has almost the largest free-rome map of all time, they did pretty darn good with the graphics. In my opinion it lacks interest when you're playing by yourself, so I usually only play with some friends. But if you like to take control and not rely on stupid people, then go right ahead. The sky is the limit in GTA 5, ...literally. It definitely doesn't lack in stuff to do. Also, no one ever actually does half of the things Rockstar says you can do in the game. Most of it is rhetorical, so just stick with the killing, smashing, screaming, murdering and you'll have lots of fun. So, to summarize it, DEFINITELY buy this game! It's actually one of the few games out there that's worth $60!!! Good luck.

What can I say? Rockstar has once again exceeded expectations. This game is just amazing. Storyline is great. Gameplay is great. Graphics are great. There's not much negative you can say about this game. GTA Online makes the game ten times better. It's always fun to go play with your friends and Rockstar has new content just about every month or so.
