Product Details:

One of the most highly anticipated role-playing games of all time, FINAL FANTASY TYPE-0 makes its Western debut on PlayStation®4 and Xbox One as FINAL FANTASY TYPE-0 HD. Featuring the immersive story, memorable characters, and production values the series is known for, players are transported to Orience, a dark, FINAL FANTASY world governed by crystals and torn apart by war, as the nation's youth are swept into its conflict.

Step into the fray as Class Zero, a group of fourteen students from an elite military academy whose country is attacked by an aggressive neighboring Empire. Using the powerful abilities and magic of all fourteen characters in fast-paced action RPG combat, players must face the brutality and injustices of war to uncover the secrets of its genesis.

  • High Definition Visuals: The world of Orience is brought to life in rich and vivid detail, coming to modern consoles in gorgeous, newly rendered HD visuals.
  • Customizable Parties: Choose from 14 playable members of Class Zero to control, each with distinctive weapons, abilities, and combat styles.
  • High Stakes Battles: A bloody, action-packed battle system where every attack carries the weight of mortality. Enter a world where a common fire spell incinerates foes, and the deadly Killsight is an instant fatality.
  • A Mature FINAL FANTASY For a New Age: The crystals fuel the flames of war, shedding light on young heroes who must cope with decisions that will mean the difference between life and death and the rise and fall of nations.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This game is good but has some flaws. This game is overall a good game to play. I have been enjoying every minute of it! Grant it that the graphics can be weird at some points like peoples faces will just be different sometimes, like they just look like a square and you have to remember this game aint like the other ones this hardcore focuses on war. Also if your in to achievement hunting like me this game has the easiest achievements in the world. Their just time consuming. I highly recommend this game to play and if you don't like it at firsts till give it a chance i didn't like the beginning at first but now i'm in love.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Must Play This is the first game that isn't part of the core Final Fantasy series that I can say I love more than some of the bigger titles. The combat system is very different for Final Fantasy games but it gives such a huge flow to the game that the others don't have. My favorite part might be how it still incorporates that old Final Fantasy feel when you get a "Victory" from beating a squad leader and it plays the same old Victory Music without pausing the action. I would not recommend this to anyone who doesn't have the time or patience to learn, it is a very complex game. But you can still enjoy the game on a lower difficulty if you just want to ride by for the story. The only bad thing I can say about this game is the platform I chose to get it on. The Xbox One. A very very weak gaming center with so many flaws. My internet was off when I tried playing this title for the first time on offline mode and it still wouldn't let me play until I had connection. Anyway, I don't want to turn this into an Xbox One review. Final Fantasy Type-0 is a MUST PLAY GAME and belongs in every RPG fan's collection.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Favorite Game of 2015 so far I love that final fantasy took an action approach. The combat is great, characters are interesting! The story is good but a little confusing (just like every final fantasy game) but I think people should pick this up if they haven't played it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from ehhh when i first heard this was coming out i was really excited, i love JRPG games and have been playing FF for a long time and this game was just not what i was expecting. controls are clunky and not very fluent for a console game. i do understand it was a PSP game first but that doesnt make up for bad controls and clunky lock on schemes. the game play is dull and unexciting. only positive i really have for this game is when i got it, it came with the FF15 demo which was great. i actually spent more time playing the FF15 demo then i did playing this game

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT the story line, gameplay and appeal is amazing. only problem are the ps2 graphics on a next gen system and horrible voice overs lol but great game

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The Final Fantasy branding is a joke. The only thing Final Fantasy about this game is the music and inclusion of Chocobos. This is a button mashing, graphically confusing waste of the Final Fantasy brand. Squeenix needs to get back to their roots: menu based gameplay featuring in-depth storylines with fully developed characters and NPCs. Should have returned this after the first hour, but I gave it a week or so to try and grow on me and it just got more and more confusing. The FFXV demo included ruined my hopes for that game as well, being another active-combat button-combo game. PLEASE SQUEENIX, GET BACK TO YOUR ROOTS OR YOU WILL KILL THE FF FRANCHISE!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Breath of Fresh Air I never seen the original FF Type 0 because it was released in Japan 4 years ago. This game does that have similar Final Fantasy feel, especially the music. the camera is a little shaky though, however, you will get use to it after a few hours of gameplay. The game is challenging, which is perfect for the hardcore gamers, I have played almost all FF games and I am huge FF fan. This game didn't take away from the experience. If you like Chocobos and JRPGs, this game is for you!!! Also the FFXV demo is pretty sick, I am definitely getting that one!!
