Rated 9 out of 10 by Thrillkey12 After Your First Goal, You'll Asking For More
When checking out the reviews I was greatly surprised to see how low the score was on Fifa. I've had the game since a week after launch and needless to say I'm hooked. This is the first fifa I have ever played. Yes at first i wasnt good at all nothing short of terrible, but after each week you just get better and better. As soon as you hit your first goal you become addicted. The fact that the game looks amazing and you favorite teams song being chanted in the background just adds to the excitement. I find myself constantly recording my goals as a badge of honor because it feels like such an amazing feat. Online is tuff because there are some beasts out there, but practicing in kick off mode before you go to seasons is highly recommend it. Online friendlies is one of the best game modes on the game. It gallows you to play 5 games against a friend and the person with the most points wins the cup, and you go into the next season. There so much to do in this game and it always leaves you wanting more. 60 dollars is more then a fair price for the amount of joy you will get outta this game. Its time to go global... BUY FIFA 14
Rated 5 out of 10 by DaZzLeD Inconsistant online play
I've made my way up the leagues to division two in seasons. And let me tell you, this game is infuriating. So many bad calls made by refs, so many dumb rebounds that end up in goals, so many inconsistencies. I've been awarded penalty kicks that should not have been a foul. Instead of selling it for $20, I'm going to burn it.
Rated 10 out of 10 by Mrginga Great game if you like soccer.
So far I haven't had any major problems with game. The ball went invisible for a couple games but other than that there have been no glitches. On to my review. This game is the best Fifa I've played yet, the gameplay is great, the music is great, the graphics don't look too much better than previous games but still great. Overall the game is plain fantastic. One thing I think would be an interesting addition to the game is when you're creating a player for drop in or career perhaps they could use the kinect to take your actual feature and make the player look as much like you as possible. Overall, I love this game so far (I just got it three days ago) and I'm just going to keep on playing it.

Rated 5 out of 10 by Devildog1968 Great graphics meets HORRIBLE AI
The graphics are amazing. The game IS stunning visually. I wish audio tracks were better. Also, the announcers need few more lines. I got bored with repeated comments.
The AI is horrific. In FUT, you cannot play one player. It forces you to handle the ball. That would be ok IF the AI controlled players did anything well. The auto-switching logic seems to pick the player in advance of the ball. It does NOT pick the closest player. If you have a player just behind the player with the ball and a player a quarter up field, it will pick the latter; I assume because he is in a 'better' defensive position.
Offsides appears to guaged based off the player's FORWARD facing foot, even when they are running backwards. I had more than a few called offside for that.
Players also tend to stand and watch the ball roll by them. I can't the count the number tackles were I pushed the ball to a team mate's feet, only to have them watch it roll by and be reposessed by the player I kicked from originally.
I've watched as AI controlled team mates have run down balls, which are clearly rolling of play for a goal kick or our throw in, only to get there at the LAST possible second to touch it and run it out of bounds; giving the OTHER team a corner or throw. VERY AGGRAVATING!!!!
I bought it for X360, but rented it for X1. At half off or for kids just wasting time, it's a buy. Otherwise, save the money.
Rated 9 out of 10 by ShadowMD Gets More Real Each Year
Credit to the graphics because there is definitely a step up from previous years (and systems). The crowd, the pitch, the players, the stadiums all look more realistic.
I really enjoy how each year the game gets harder to play (which in my mind makes it more realistic). First touches aren't perfect and its slightly more difficult controlling the ball and going by defenders.
The layout of this game has improved significantly. Things look more organized and structured, its easier to continue your last saved games. Overall a great improvement.

Starter a career mode, had to play my first game 3 times in a row because after i would try to advance the game sent me back to the dashboard. It didn't save the last game so I had to start over. I tried talking to an EA tech but they weren't very helpful and got me no where. Also the game would not allow me to log onto FUT, it made me enter a new security question and answer, after i entered an answer it said answer could not b saved. Those r the only 2 modes I really enjoy in the game. Today I am going to be returning the game.

I never write reviews but this game is making me do one. It doesn't work there is a issue that makes it crash after every match, and EA is not doing nothing to resolve the issue its happening with Xbox One and PS 4. Its been going on since launch and nothing was done about it. Correction they did patch it and that didn't fix nothing. The game is beautiful and fun to play but it keeps crashing and it doesn't save the game that you just played so you just keep playing same game over and over. In summary I would wait for them to fix the issue before buying it.
Rated 2 out of 10 by Drettiray They made a poor decision
EA sports decided to take the tournament/league mode out of their software. They claim that the decision was made solely on consumer feedback, but if you go online and read the reviews you'll get a different sentiment about their decision. In my opinion, they wanted to force their consumers to play more online games, because that way they can charge consumers for more online perks.
I recommend that you do not buy it.
Rated 10 out of 10 by RedBloodyDevil The best FIFA EVER!!
I traded-in my X360 version of FIFA 14 for this one for just $9.95 (Thank you GameStop), and I have to say, all the issues I faced with the x360 version are gone..
The players react better. Their movement is more fluid, the crowds are simply amazing. The interface is neater (a lot darker).
Beware FUT Users though, EA have jacked up prices of points on the XBOX One.. So if you want to save a few bucks, purchase points on the x360 version before you switch over. It'll be 25% cheaper..
The best FIFA ever!!
