Rated 10 out of 10 by RHutch96 Great Graphics, Great Story, No Let Down
The story of Ajay Ghale is one that has everything: sadness, fear, anger, and happiness. Without spoiling anything, the story takes Ajay to Kyrat, a mystifying and seemingly endless environment of dense jungles and an array of creative and unique animals that makes it come to life. Ajay's prime objective is to scatter his mother's ashes in the Royalist controlled country where her former husband, and Ajay's father, formed a rebellion called the Golden Path. The Golden Path's fighting with the Royalist Army lasts up to the present day when Ajay visits and the game begins. Similar to Far Cry 3 there are multiple experiences in which you end up intoxicated by hallucinogenic drugs. The graphics are also similar to Far Cry 3, being clear and crisp from up close and astoundingly breathtaking from afar. Without boring y'all, Far Cry 4 is a great game with a solid plot, stunning graphics, and great acting from the cast. This is a great free roam game and can provide you with hours of entertainment whether it be main campaign, side missions, or simply exploring.

Its a really good game, but similar to Farcry 3. The environment is great. I like the elephants that you can ride and trample people, they took away the nice sunsets. I miss Vas
Rated 10 out of 10 by jdblack Everything I have wanted in a game...
While being disappointed that I wasted my money on Destiny.. I had to trade it in when I seen this, Far Cry 4. There is so many things you can do in Far Cry 4. Many of missions which you can be tactical/stealth like or try your luck by hopping on an elephant, with a crossbow, mowing everyone down. Side missions and extra quest Galore... BONUS Actually has a story "that I want to pay attention too" It has a nice drop in/drop out co-op option so you can attack the vicious compounds with a friend... I have played this non-stop for a month and a half now.. IMO worth every penny!
Rated 9 out of 10 by TerrorStorm Ton of fun!
This is my favorite Xbox one game so far! its a blast.I love that its a open world game but sometimes it gets distracting i mean i will set a way point for a campaign mission and i will be on my way and i see a honey badger run by which i would need for crafting so i will chase after it kill it get the skin then on my way back i run into a skirmish (random firefights between the enemy any your friendly troops) and i join in shoot everyone with my driller machine gun take the enemy's car and drive down the road to run into a elephant and of course jump on its back and smash cars with it :3 so far i have spent 12 hours into the game and am only 15% done with the game
Rated 6 out of 10 by TNGo2325 Good on paper, but no staying power
The game plays exactly like Far Cry 3 and is an evolution of its combat system, so combat is fluid and satisfying. The guns sound amazing and the developers made full use of the One's new controller feedback. The game is very impressive visually, and its scale is unprecedented (almost 3 miles from each edge of the map). From there, however, small negatives begin to add up. I myself believe the story was not as strong as that of Far Cry 3 nor did it have as memorable of villains (and characters in general). Additionally, the binary choices one is faced with in the story provide no enjoyable choices, instead working with what brand of immorality one wishes to side with. While the gun play is good, the developers changed how some weapons are balanced and thus one should not believe good weapons from FC3 will be as powerful in FC4 (this isn't as much of a complaint as just a note). The arena is tedious at best and one must suffer through it if he or she wants to achieve 100% in-game completion. The multiplayer is also lacking; while the idea of asymmetric combat is interesting in theory, it was not executed well. The only multiplayer I would advise anyone to play is the prerequisite matches to get the achievement. Overall, the combat is fun and ridiculous (in a good way) and battles can provide an apt challenge for most gamers, and I certainly got $60 worth of fun out of that. The game just has flaws that make its content not as good as the previous release.
Rated 10 out of 10 by Dabuzz Totally Awesom It's like GTA V and CoD had a baby.
My title is the best way to describe it. Great game and a must have. If Grand Theft Auto V and Call of Duty had a baby. It would be this game. Tons of stuff to do. Mission packed.
Rated 6 out of 10 by Takwin Derivative and boring, but pretty
I don't get the praise of this game. It is typical derivative Ubisoft drivel. It is better than Assassin's Creed, but that game is annoying and even more derivative. Far Cry 4 is a relatively fun game with good graphics but it is so repetitive within the game and compared to Far Cry 3. Ubisoft just ruins games with their game formulas and uncanny number of stupid collectibles in game.

I was very excited to purchase this game as a digital download. What i didnt realize was that you need to buy a second gift card to make up for the tax...so when you buy this download for 60$ you arent actually able to buy the game...kinda a big let down...have yet to play but i am expecting to be blown away
