Dead Rising 3
So many ZOMBIES! SO SO MANY! This game is truly amazing. Originally when I got my Xbox One at the midnight release, I did not plan on getting this game. However, when i went and picked up this game it was the perfect decision. I played this game so so so so much! I loved it. It is a fun story, fun gameplay, and has amazing detail on every inch of the map. The downside is... the story is short, it is easy to level up, and has no lasting value. I loved it don't get me wrong, but the only reason I kept the game after I beat it was to get every achievement. I have traded in the game now, but if you are looking for something fun to play, go pick this up. Would probably suggest getting it used though, because you can enjoy it for the week you get it and trade it back and get all your money back.
A Must Buy Title
Dead Rising 3 is the most fleshed out exclusive game on any new console. Without a doubt, this is the best game in the series to date and a must own title for any person who enjoys fun video games.
As for the game itself, Dead Rising 3 offers a large city to explore with a lot of things to collect, zombies to kill, weapons to destroy, vehicles to drive, etc. It's all done in a seamless fashion with no loading even when going into interior environments. The gameplay feels similar but everything's been improved and feels better than ever. It doesn't constrain you in ways that previous games did, allowing you to play the way you want to play. While it's still challenging in places, Dead Rising 3's controls never frustrate like they could in previous games.
Onto the graphics, I feel that Dead Rising is pretty pleasing to the eyes. While it's not the most realistic looking game, it's improvements are numerous. This is the best looking game in the franchise, but it's all the more impressive since it's much larger than the previous games. It includes better texture detail, some very nice lighting, expressive facial animations, etc. It's definitely a nice looking sandbox launch game.
As for the story, it's standard zombie stuff, however some of the characters are really interesting and the voice acting is generally superb.
Better then expected
I was going to pass on this game after playing dead rising 2 and I hated it but got this game as a gift I have to admit this game is awesome keeps me entertained and wanting to play more and more capcom did a great job with this one.
Best DR yet!!!
Dead Rising 3 is an amazing zombie game with such an excellent open world to discover. this has to be the best DR ever because of the many crazy weapons that you can find, build, and use on the undead, even down to the DLC, which I also bought, is great too. overall awesome addition to a great series.
Running over zombies again and again :)
This is the first game I played on my new xbox and I wasn't disappointed the story is funny but you can tell they wanted to make this one a little more serious the co-op is a game changer with a friend the carnage is 10 times better then if alone the story with side missions is 8-10 hours just the main story you an a friend can do it in half of that the collectables are fun to collect and doesn't feel like you have to do it but you want to. The vehicles that you use to get around are fun to drive and be happy about that because you will be using them a lot to go back and forth in this game. It would be fun if it had a feature after you beat the game that you could just jump into the world and collect stuff and kill zombies no story
Great start for xbox one
Great first day release, non-stop action and fun with enough zombies to keep the good times rolling.
Just Another Launch Title
I really wanted to love this game. It had finally removed what I hated about the others, but ultimately, it fell flat. The draw distance is amazing, and the sheer amount of zombies on screen is jaw dropping. However, this is one of the only good things I can say. The interface is very clunky. Multiplayer is enjoyable, but was made hard to access. The game has constant sound bugs along with terrible voice acting and god awful one liners. In one mission I heard "Rhonda Rules" about 15 times. The story is laughable, but I expected no better. About 10 hours into the game, I realized that the entire $60 game was a fetch quest. The actual character models are terrible as well, my PS2 had better quality.
The best thing overall is the killing of zombies, which I give Capcom credit for,. The weapon combination is very interesting, especially online, and the physics of the zombies as you smash them with a modded vehicle are outstanding.
Overall, the only way you ever NEED to experience this game is the e3 2013 demo, as that highlights the only good points
Too many glitches.
Too many glitches in the game will prevent you from progressing further. Google these glitches and you will discover that a lot of people are having the same issue. Not fun at all.
SO MUCH FUN!!!!
Dead Rising 3 is one of my favorite games of 2013. It is kind of short, but because of how short it was it made me want to replay it and do every side mission. This game is what anyone who loves zombie games would want to play. BUY THIS GAME!!!!
Gave it a shot, probably better for the fans...
I'm always game to try a zombie game, they are usually fun, sometimes ridiculous and most times entertaining. This isn't a terrible game, but when I think of repetitive, this is what comes to mind now. Yes I had fun killing zombies with hilarious weapons and vehicles, but there was nothing really new almost ever. It started out promising, but this game is simply for finding twisted ways to wreck zombies. Now me, I like a little bit of that survivor element, but this doesn't have it. The side-missions just rack up and don't really change too often and the bosses, well lets just say you can defiantly tell this is a Capcom game. To tell the truth I honestly didn't like the main character, I thought he was always freaking out like Ian in The Lost World: Jurassic Park 2. The story isn't bad, but moves very slowly and honestly didn't appeal that much. One thing that actually bothered me a lot was the lack of fast traveling, this is due to the fact side-missions can be spread out and take you all over the place and to get back you have to go through the newly spawned zombies again. If you want a mess around kill zombies in ridiculous ways get this, if you wanted a zombie/apocalyptic game with a story don't bother. I know I'm probably preaching to the choir, I've tried the other Dead Risings and honestly just not my thing.
