Product Details:

Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare, developed by Sledgehammer Games (co-developers of Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 3), harnesses the first three-year, all next-gen development cycle in franchise history. Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare envisions the powerful battlegrounds of the future, where both technology and tactic have evolved to usher in a new era of combat for the franchise. Delivering a stunning performance, Academy Award® winning actor Kevin Spacey stars as Jonathan Irons - one of the most powerful men in the world - shaping this chilling vision of the future of war.

An Advanced World:

  • Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare takes place in a plausible future in which technological progress and today's military practices have converged with powerful consequences.
  • In this carefully researched and crafted vision of the future, Private Military Corporations (PMCs) have become the dominant armed forces for countless nations outsourcing their military needs, redrawing borders and rewriting the rules of war.
  • And Jonathan Irons, the founder and president of the world's largest PMC - Atlas Corporation - is at the center of it all.

An Advanced Soldier:

  • Powerful exoskeletons evolve every aspect of a soldier's battle readiness, enabling combatants to deploy with an advanced lethality and eliminating the need for specialization.
  • The introduction of this gameplay mechanic delivers enhanced player movement and verticality through boost jumps and grappling, covert cloaking abilities, and biomechanics that provide unparalleled strength, awareness, endurance, and speed.
  • With the advent of the exoskeleton and newly advanced armor and weaponry, every soldier commands tactical freedom in any terrain unlike ever before, fundamentally changing the way gamers play Call of Duty across all modes.

An Advanced Arsenal:

  • Harnessing the power of next-gen platforms, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare brings players into the battlegrounds of the future by boasting a new hi-tech, advanced arsenal and ability set, arming players with all-new equipment, technology, perks, and vehicles like hoverbikes and highly specialized drones.
  • Players can also choose between standard ammunition and an all-new class of directed-energy weaponry that enables totally new gameplay dynamics.
  • And with exoskeletons delivering a massive force multiplier and unprecedented tactical freedom, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare evolves every firefight.

Game Informer Rating:

Rated 9 out of 10 by Game Informer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Jetpacks really....omg! I really dislike the futuristic style of game play that is being promoted by most of the game makers. The games need to be more like Call Of Duty: Black Ops and Battlefield 3! Both of these games I have logged thousands of hours playing. Just flat out boots on the ground game play is the best and most realistic. That goes the same for zombies!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The game is amazing. Call of Duty Advanced Warfare is very interesting and eye catching game. It features the usual things you see from a call of duty game. For example there are a few different modes that for any amount of players. One thing that differs from the last call of duty is the goal of the story/campaign mode. While the other modes have goals that are basically the same, your story mode has a whole new problem and someone thats going to solve it.The game features new and old things, some that you may fall in love with. In Call of Duty Advanced Warfare there are a couple different modes that requires a different amount of players. The first mode is the single player campaign there is only one player allowed. Then there are Multiplayer modes. The first mode is online multiplayer there 8 player per team limit. If your playing the popular zombies game mode then there is a limit of four players. Goals and rules differ just like the number of players. Your goal all depends on the game mode your playing. If your playing multiplayer the goal is to kill people on the other team and get a highs score. If your playing the zombie mode the goal is to kill zombies and not die and get to the highest round. This game is basically just another first person shooter. You run around with guns and a objective to kill people. You can through tactical or lethals. Or try to get numerous kills with your favorite gun. You run around the map dodging bullets while shooting to and having fun. It is more futuristic its based off a futuristic version of warfare. The story mode is a one path sequence but there are parts where your decision could affect how it plays out. There are also these things called supply drops. You get these by do certain things in game. And when you open these you could get head gear body gear or modded weapons. Also sometimes you could find a glitch in any mode that could possibly get your more points or help you have an in game advantage. But they don't not always stay there they can be patched really fast so if you find one enjoy it while it lasts. After all i will probably give this game a 8 out of 10. It really got me excited for more futuristic versions of call of duty. I was pulled in by the campaign that i came to like even though I'm just a multiplayer person myself. Some new aspects to the game like the futuristic multiplayer or the new supply drops intrigued me and kept me playing the game 24/7. This is a game i think everyone would enjoy even if your not that big of a fan of call of duty game. Im excited to see what comes next.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Call of Duty: Advanced Re-Skin Advanced Warfare is a nice addition to the Call of Duty series, but the major problem with all Call of Duty games is that they have become the sports game of the FPS genre. A new game comes out every year, with updated everything and a lackluster campaign. I know that Call of Duty, is liked for their multiplayer mode, but even if they focused on the campaign a little bit more, Call of Duty games would seem a little less stale.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Funnest CoD I haven't been very pleased with Call of Duty since Modern Warfare 2, but Advanced Warfare gives me hope that the series still has potential to be successful as well as fun. The campaign story is a little ridiculous, but it's my favorite in the series anyway, with some of the few memorable characters in the series. Multiplayer still suffers from the typical balance issues found in online games and it can get a little repetitive, but it does offer some really hectic and fast paced action that is enjoyable. Overall, it's my favorite game in the series so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good entry in the series I had some problems with the game at first. After playing it a while and then them adding some of the classic cod weapons i grew to like it a lot . It is a fun game and a solid entry in the game really mixing up the transportation ideas. Fun game for next gen.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This game is a HUGE letdown Yet another Call of duty that is just boring, the Exo suit adds a new style of play but the multiplayer is just garbage

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Biggest Waste of Money I thought it would be Treyarch's turn again after Ghosts, but we got Sledgehammer. I thought that would be alright, considering I liked MW3, but I was very wrong. The multiplayer is a bunch of jumping around with jetpacks and hearing those god-awful exo suits the entire game. The survival and campaign are okay. DO NOT get the dlc! It is absolutely horrible and is a rip-off from Treyarch. The Exo Zombies mode is by far the worst gaming experience you will ever have in a video game. You'd have more fun going back and using an Atari or a GameBoy.
