Rated 5 out of 5 by from really impressive addition to the series. This game is great, because it takes place during the French revolution in the year 1789, it has everything Assassins Creed fans would want in the series;like:swords, guns, side missions, and much more to accomplish just like all of the previous games, that's why AC is one of the most successful series in the gaming world today.overall great addition.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from years after its release, bug free and awesome If you're looking to get this game in 2016, you can get it for dirt cheap and get the best possible product out of it. It had a terrible release with game breaking bugs every where you looked, however, now you have the benefit of getting the dlc for free because of that and getting the game for very cheap. It's a great Assassins Creed game, it's a bit sad that the game had such a botched release as I would of loved to have seen Arno(the protagonist) given the same treatment as Ezio. Overall, it has a good story, good gameplay, and great visuals.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Game for the price !! I bought this new and just never played it due to other games I also bought at the time .. For the price you can get this game for now it is a must have !! I don't regret paying full price for it, but if I would have waited, I could have got it for $20.00 !!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than I thought it would be.... I waited a whole year to play this game like I did with some others and I have to say, I'm glad I gave it a go. I had read so many bad reviews and negative comments that the thought of purchasing was pushing me left...out of the door. I decided to try it out and while it did still have a few bugs, I continued to play it and I really liked it a lot. I felt the story was actually really good and it kept me hanging in there longer than I expected. I have only played two other Assassin's Creed games, so coming back and playing this after a long break was refreshing. The graphichs in my opinion will never live up to a something of a Crytek engine (which I saw in comparison from another review smh) but the game was still a pretty good looking game. I thought the gameplay and missions were very resonably done and played out. Overall I thought it was a really good game and judging from the looks of Syndicate, I can tell that they've learned from their mistakes and have turned a really good game into an awesome one and after playing Unity I can't wait to get my hands on the next chapter of the AC family and play it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Challenging for beginners One thing that I really liked about this game is the fighting mechanics, in stead of pressing a button to block and then killing off your enemy you actually have to work at it, it takes a couple hits to take out an enemy once you have deflected their attack, in addition some enemies are tougher to beat than others and may even end up killing you if you do not deflect attacks quick enough or fail to see them. The climbing is something you will have to get used to and you can't use the hidden blade as an independent weapon which in my opinion was a HUGE mistake since the game is known for its famous hidden blade, hopefully they will correct this later. Other than that the game is pretty fun Unity still contains the fun of jumping from roof to roof, a pretty decent storyline and lots of collectibles, side missions, and the new multiplayer missions to keep the game goin once you have completed the main story, Oh and if you dont enjoy blood splattering all over the place when killing an enemy the censor gore is still an available option.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Its Ok Although most of the major glitches have been patched, I still encounter frame rate issues, especially while sprinting through large crowds; other than that, the frame rate stays around 40-60 fps. I like all of the new features such as the phantom blade, extensive character customization (You can change your headgear, pants, belt, gauntlets, coat, ect.), and more difficult enemies. The new parkour (sorry if I misspelt that) is ok, I preferred the one from Black Flag; but that may be because I suck at parkour in Unity. Overall besides the frame rate issues, this game is really fun.
