Rated 4 out of 5 by from great game overall, recommend to all Alien fans! I love how the story kept with the style of the Alien universe and had the scare factor associated with it. I also love how the game creators kept the setting dark and made the story as a tie-in with the first alien movie. I recommend this game to any fan of the Alien movies and is looking for something that really keeps true to the legacy of the series. Would also love to see another Alien game in this same style.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A must own for any serious gamer. Though survival horror isn't for everyone this game is a master piece and a must own for any gamer. A perfect game for any Alien fan as well as Survival Horror fans. The every aspect of the sound and lighting are literally perfect for what the game is and really impressive. Only minor complaints about the game NONE of which take away from the experience. I'm eagerly waiting to see if the same company will dish out another atmospheric, intense and captivating take on the alien franchise.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Totally Forgot I totally forgot I had this game. I bought a bunch of games around the same time and forgot I had this. This game is awesome. I love the Alien franchise and finally a game does it justice. The last time I played the game was on a level I got too stressed out on because of the Alien. Thats how it should be. It's Alien. Come on. This isn't some bush-league, "scary game". Its Alien. Classic Alien. How its supposed to be done. Graphics and controls are perfect if it matters or anyone cares. The game is too awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy It This is not a game I would play again but definitely one I would recommend a friend to buy. After already knowing the story it loses its appeal for the first time around is very exciting thrilling and scary. I would definitely tell others to buy a copy of this game likely preowned, but still play it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ahhhhh! Very limited map. Useless weapons. Very limited ammo. Never ending phycs. Impossible enemies. After treading the same corridors multiple times, how exciting can this really be?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing game!!!!!!!!! I just got this game the other day and it has been fantastic!! The graphics and sound on this game are crazy amazing. SOUND: Amazing, you can just feel your heart racing when you hear the alien around you or running through the vents above you. GRAPHICS: Crazy amazing, never seen anything like it!!! This is probably the game that is for anyone that loves games that give a good thrill. The aliens movement pattern are almost completely random. They are nothing like Call of Duty. Call of Dutys' movements of the AI are in a complete pattern, in Alien: Isolation it depends on what the player does. I loved it overall, It uses A LOT of stealth, so if you like running around, you will not like this game. Also this game has an AMAZING story line. If you buy this game. you've spent your money well!!!!!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Terrifyingly Amazing I enjoyed ever second of this game's 22 hour story. The graphics ate stunning, definitely for next gen. The sounds is clear and you feel like you really are in the game. The buildup to the Alien is done fantastically and I found myself holding my breath every time I saw it. It is absolutely terrifying. This Alien game finally lives up to the franchise that started it all, and gives several subtle nods to the original Ridley Scott movie. The game is very long, and gets a little dull for a bit, but it immediately picks right back up. When you aren't wetting your pants hiding from the Alien, you have other survivors and androids gone haywire to worry about. The crafting system is phenomenal, and the story line keeps you interested through the entire game. Fantastic.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Meh. . . When I first played the game it was amazing, hiding in lockers scared for my life but after awhile it lost it's shine. While I am a fan of the series, after a while the fear dies down, your no longer afraid of using guns, and the game-play becomes a bit tedious after your second to third play-through. That being said the first play through is an amazing experience, definitely something to jump start the series after the failure of Aliens: Colonial Marines. For anyone who hasn't bought the game but wants to, I recommend waiting for the game to be in the $40-$30 price range.
